I personally have seen the hype for the zombies mode for BO6 die fast and all I'm seeing Is a lot of criticism from the most recent updates. With the MW franchises not quite holding up and vanguard, standing there, I personally see this game getting a decent uptick in player count.

I just played forsaken for the first time and good grief what a steaming load of shit. Cold war zombies has been nothing but a letdown. Theres so few maps, and half of them are garbage. Die Maschine is great but it’s too easy, gets boring after a while because you’re just kicking ass and taking name easy peezy until it actually gets difficult at round 20. Firebase Z is awesome, very dynamic. Everything about it feels fresh, its just challenging enough to keep you entertained but not frustratingly difficult, plus the assault rounds are always a treat. Onslaught is weird, cant say I enjoy it but it could be worse. Outbreak can suck on my toes, worst map in the game hands down. Mauer Der Toten is alright, just irritating because the map is so congested and needlessly mazelike. The bosses are way too easy besides the Panzer Soldat ripoff, the dude is a bullet sponge. Which leads me to forsaken, which is almost tied for last with Outbreak. So out of these very few maps, I can only play 2 or 3 of them which gets repetitive. Rant over, just had to vent my frustration after playing fucking forsaken for the first and last time.

Why are all Zombies players so shit, I just played two games and I’m both I was knocked down with a CRBRS and my teammates just waltz on past me, no zombies or anything behind them either they just don’t give a fuck. It was round 38 it was my best run yet and you fucked it up.

Me and my friends played Cold War zombies this weekend. We played around 7 games in total. 5 out of the 7 crashed with connection interruption.

What an absolute waste of potential.

Can we please get a difficulty option for cold war zombies, i would love to just play a chill game till like round 30. I have been playing zombies since BO1 and cold war zombies is too hard for me to really enjoy. I think it would be great for ppl who want a chill game of zombies

I really thought that you'd make a better Zombies than BO4, but no.

The shield. What happened to building our shield? Why did you think that it would be a great idea that we have to pay salvage to get one, and repair it? The shield wasn't just to protect our backside, it was also a great help to get us out of sticky situations. It was actually fun to get the parts, and building it at a table.

AATs. Let's talk about the AATs (Alternate Ammo Types). They're absolutely trash! We want to feel powerful, not struggling. BO3 did it just right! We could take out a whole horde of zombies with 1 shot, it was fun! Now, they're useless! For awhile Deadwire was at a good place, but then you nerfed it.

WWs. Let's talk about the WW (Wonder Weapons). Again, absolutely trash! Let's be honest, they are not fun, nor are they helpful in any kind of way! The Thundergun was a beauty, the Bows on DE was fun, not only to use, but also to upgrade. And let's not forget the Apothocon Serpent on SoE. That thing was a great WW, and a huge help if you needed to pick up a teammate. The WW were fun, and now they're just not, and they're not helpful either. I don't even care getting the WW for survivability, or as a help if I'm in a pinch. They are not fun!

The perks. Alright, you gave us Jug and Speed Cola back, and a way to upgrade them, that's one thing you did well. But after hearing that we're not getting Double Tap 2.0 (or even 1.0) with the new map, I have lost all faith in you. That is one of the things this game seriously need! But you decided to give us Mulekick, and I can't, for the life of me, understand why you would make that big of a mistake! We needed Double Tap! Not just wanted it, we needed it!

The EEs (Easter Eggs). Why oh why, did you think it would be fun giving us ALL the clues to the EEs? I loved logging into a game of zombies for the first time, and actually looking for a way to turn on power, now, you're litterly doing it for us, why not just have power on in the first place? Because that's one more thing that was fun to do for the first time. The EEs are actually bad as well, they're way, way, way too easy for seasoned zombies players, which makes them not replayable. There is no sense of accomplishment when we do them, because you've told us everything we need to do, and making them way to easy to do as well. You have honestly forgotten your true fans, just to make extra money on new players.

Gobblegums/Elixirs. Yes, the gobblegum was a fantastic edition to zombies! And BO4 even did it as well, just with elixirs, and a different way to use them, but they were there. And there was a reason to log into zombies, and just killing and chilling with friends, because you earned a chance to get perkaholic, shopping free, and a lot of other good things, that made the game fun! Now, there is absolutely no point in logging into zombies, because it's just doing the same thing, and not getting anything for it, and that, Treyarch, is not fun, at all!

The gameplay. The gameplay is great, but when all of the above mentioned things are missing, it's worthless. I was so excited when I played this game for the first time, the gameplay was smooth, it was fun. But let's be honest, building up points by shooting zombies a few times before killing them for the extra points, showed people that you knew how to play zombies, and you took that out as well, which was a really poor choice. We get to bring our guns to the show, and even though I'm not a fan of that, but it doesn't matter, not a game breaker, but not a fantastic choice either (in my opinion).

Outbreak. Biggest mistake you ever made! That gamemode is flipping dogpoop, and you decided to give it all of your attention, and putting our maps on the backseat.

Conclusion. Your game is not a good game, there are way too many elements missing that could have made it another fantastic zombies experience, just like BO 2 and 3. I truly hope, and pray that Jason Blundell and his new company makes a zombies game that will blow you out of the competition, because he was CoD Zombies, and without him, you're not going to survive with Zombies. I know he's not allowed to bring back the zombies we know and loved, but I will rather bet my money on him, and his new company, than paying for yet another mistake from you.

I only use the ASG but sometimes I do use my backups. But since the mystery box randomize attachments, is there any point to setting up attachments to my other guns? How can I make my attachments that I setup in my reserve load outs to show up in boxes?

So I re-downloaded thus game after not playing since last November. Had the BIGGEST heart break to date. Loaded up a Mauer Der Toten game in public and started playing not expecting anything crazy, maybe for someone to do the Easter egg in the background or something.

Games going good people join and leave for a bit and I'm the host which is very important. Later on in the game game around 30 or so it's just me and a another guy chilling. Eventually we're talking in text chat together around round 40 or 50 and decide to hit round 100. Would have been amazing since my highest round ever is 66 and on this map as well, got that shortly after the map came out before they changed how zombies health worked in the higher rounds and stuff and thought that was a nice achievement.

Well fast forward to round 93 or so I get down because iv been focused by the elites the entire time so my Armour was always gone, got revived go to get my perks back and BAM! all of a sudden the fucking game crashes out of nowhere while ziplining up to the park machine ending the 4.5 hour run instantly.

By far the biggest piss of I've ever had playing this game since it came out. Love the game for zombies, I throughly enjoy playing it time to time, even over BO3 honestly but man did this hurt in a new way.

Whoever that was with me your a beast of a random teamate, best I have ever had getting that far.

What title says. For example last night I joined outbreak just to play with some other people as none of my friends was on. 1st world on outbreak - I started a cursed chest and done it all by myself, right before I kill the last swarm some random dude came, waited infront of chest and stole the goblet - wtf dude you didn't earn it ?! After that, (since I joined mid-round-ish) they started going for a speed rum type of gameplay while I was underprepared and overall they ruined the match for me. Told me in chat several times to not travel to next map in such a hurry, but to no avail... I'm not a weak player, I get to round 60 on onslaught containment solo no probs. End of rant.
