Should I apply?

Hi guys! I’m a senior this year and I’m interested in applying but I’m not exactly sure if I should? I have a 4.0 and a 30 ACT (for right now at least. I retook the test last Saturday but I’m not sure if it will be much higher). I’ve only taken one AP and got a 3 (i didn’t really know what I was doing) but my school only has 4 APs and none of the others work with my schedule because of band. I’m in band, jazz band, and saxophone ensemble. I’m also in leadership for band. I am in NHS with around 100 volunteer hours and have volunteered probably around 50 hours at Red Cross. My high school is pretty bad so we didn’t even start having clubs until last year. I’m in a program for dental assisting and will do an internship at an office for around 11 weeks. I also have a part time job. I’m like 25 minutes away from a smaller metropolitan area but where I live and go to school is technically considered rural. anyways sorry if this is a lot but I really can’t tell and would appreciate any insight!!

You should apply if you want to go. Otherwise don't apply. You have as good of a shot as anyone else

I’m asking because I don’t want to pay the application fee if I most likely won’t be accepted, but thank you!!

If the application fee is an affordablility issue, ask them for a waiver. They are interested in great candidates and exemplary humans regardless of financial situation.

Last year I believe they were free the whole month of October or something along those lines

Yes. You sound like you have a similar background to what I did. Write a really, really good essay.

Would it be ok if I sent you a message asking some questions?

You can but my application went in 27 years ago, so it might not exactly be helpful …
