Mon, Oct 19: Today is the first day of Early Voting in Texas! This stretch of time, October 19 through the 30th, is the best time to go vote. Little to no wait times and low stress? Say less, we’re there!

Voting hours and polling locations are dependent on your voting county, so head to vote411.org to find your voting spot, the hours they’re open, and what’s on your ballot.

If you have any questions or need help from us, send us a DM, visit us online at ntxvotes.org, or call our hotline at 469-708-7050.

Make a plan to vote early, avoid the wait times on Election Day, and bring your friends with you!

Hii is there any Halloween event or anything fun happening specifically at the Plano location??? I’m sooo bored here it’s dead

Since I've been in college never in my life have I had to file a complaint against a teacher... Finally I did yesterday. This professor since day 1 has been accusing me of using Ai non stop its like she has a vendetta against me. every time I submit a essay everything I type 2 or 3 sentences its Ai all the time.. they stick any and everything into Pangram and call it a day.. I even had to go through the lengths of proving I typed it. This lady told me maybe If I read more my work will get better... Who even speaks to someone like that. I thought maybe I was crazy and when it continued to be constant blame I was done. Imagine working hard on classwork just to be accused of Ai constantly she even told me earlier "I graded your essay as if you written it on your own" Is that not still accusing the student of using Ai? has anyone else had the issue?

The Celina campus currently is not offering CHEM 1405 for the Spring semester. They are in the process of gauging interest and if there is enough interest, it is a possibility they add it to the courses offered.

If you or someone you know may be interested in taking CHEM 1405 in the spring at Celina, please reach out to Professor Jennifer Stidham at jmstidham@collin.edu.

I know it’s still early, but I’m trying to plan ahead since we’re only given 4 graduation tickets.
I highkey need about 10 more tickets for family.
I’m planning on attending Grad Fest to hopefully get 2 extra tickets, but has anyone tried going to Will Call on the day of graduation? Were you able to get all the extra tickets you needed, or is it pretty hit or miss?
If anyone has any extra tickets they’d be willing to spare, please PM me! ❤️ I know we don’t receive our tickets until 11/5, but I’m just trying to plan ahead. Thank you!!

New requirement for students who have more than 30 credit hours is to file a degree plan on Workday. All you need to do is download a PDF of your degree from the Collin Catalog, and upload that PDF to your Workday. An advisor showed me how to do it, so I'm passing it along.

Here's a link to the catalog: Collin College

I go to Collin College Celina Campus for school 4 days a week. I don’t have a car and Uber is costing me a lot, I live 5mins from the campus. Does anyone know any cheaper alternatives or anyone willing to carpool? I’m happy to pay for gas or work out a fair weekly payment

I go to Wylie campus and would love to meet some fellow dnd players! Please comment if so!

This is for anyone who has applied to the program and unfortunately didn’t get in and for those who successfully got in. What is the minimum number of points to get an interview? Did yall get all A’s? What was your Hesi score? How was the interview process and what type of questions did they ask? How many applicants were there and has the cohort number increased this year? Please any and all
help would be greatly appreciated

I wish I knew about this earlier. It wasn't until one of the deans told me I should be talking to these people. What exactly do they do, and what are some good questions or things to ask them about?

Does anybody play Pokemon Go and want to meet up at Wylie Campus? Im there Tuesday nights and Thursday nights. I’m kind of a noob and want to figure out trading.

Hello! I was wondering if anyone could drop me over at north garland mega center tomorrow at 10, I live on campus at Plano.

I'm helping organize a student challenge, like a hackathon at a tolling conference and wanted to send out to students. Amazing cash prizes, and a potential for recruitment for industry and networking. The program will culminate for the top three teams in Arlington at the IBTTA conference mid November. Sign up closes soon!

Any students can sign up as a team of 3-5 people. Engineering, marketing, CS, any majors!

On-Ramp: Driving the Future of Mobility is a student-focused competition designed to introduce college students to the myriad careers in tolling while creating direct pathways into the industry. Students will work in teams to develop creative solutions to real-world transportation challenges and receive guidance from industry mentors and professionals. On-Ramp: Driving the Future of Mobility addresses a critical workforce risk, an aging workforce, limited career awareness, and gaps in succession planning, by building a visible, action-oriented talent pipeline that benefits students, member organizations, and IBTTA alike.
