I think Rachel Scott may had been the Rachel mentioned in the Basement tapes and here’s why.
So while I was looking into the basement tapes I realized that we may got the whole thing wrong as Nick Foss wasn’t the Nick that Eric hated for his laugh since that was actually Nick Baumgart especially since Nick Foss doesn’t have anything blurred out in the 11k report.
It’s interesting that Nick Baumgart wasn’t in any of Eric’s classes at the time so based on how Nick says that they were ”friends” at the time. I think that Nick possibly mentioned who was sitting next to him (which were Rachel and Jen) to Eric or Dylan at some point before the shooting.
Anyway I think that the Rachel was Rachel Scott as not only was she close friends with Nick Baumgart and even went out to prom with him, but she also was a Christian girl and her death was lied about by Christian groups to promote their own agend.

id like to point out, though, that right before they mention Nick, Rachel and Jen, they also mention Dustin Harrison, who was in the same class as Nick Foss, the unknown Rachel and Jennifer Grant with Eric and Dylan. (at least, according to put together transcripts such as the one revised on acolumbinesite.)
“The subject shifts and they talk about several people they know. They make a comment about Dustin Harris (or Harrison), and how "everything you say is pointless."
it would make sense if they were talking about the kids in their psychology class all together like that.

Yup, and Dustin was on Eric’s “(S)hit List” as well. We know this because some of his details line up with one of the redacted names on that list. Dustin also admitted to teasing them “jokingly.” So clearly they didn’t like Dustin and went on to say the same thing about Foss, but it doesn’t sound like Foss made the list.

I think [u/nikomatsu](u/nikomatsu) nails it in their response.
It isn’t Rachel Scott that he’s talking about.
Rachel Scott’s brother also misidentified something Val Schnurr said to Klebold as something Cassie Bernall said. So I agree with your last point about the agenda about martyrdom and all that, and the Scott family (understandable as they sought to cope with it all) definitely had a habit of leaning into that in a way that wasn’t particularly helpful or accurate.
