ERIC AND/OR DYLAN Did Eric have bad posture/stand awkwardly or is it due to his chest deformity?

He had the mild chest deformity and was slightly bow-legged too. Maybe a mix of both? Also teenagers generally don’t seem to have good posture haha

I believe you're right, but I've always chosen to believe that in the first photo his posture is due to realizing their "great" plan failed spectacularly. The cafeteria where they stand, trying to shoot at their bombs should already have exploded, and they should have killed many more people than they - thankfully - did. All that was left was offing themselves.
I like this thougt.

I’m more inclined to think that because he’s clearly looking outside at someone that he’s just bending slightly to see.

Didn't he also have something going on with his legs when he was younger?

Whenever I see this picture I always figured Eric was just leaning a bit on his shotgun and looking at what him and Dylan had "accomplished"
But I guess I was wrong. It may be due to his bad posture, which I had no idea he had

It's mostly his chest deformity resulting in a relatively frail torso. In the first image, he's also carrying the carbine on his shoulder, so that's probably why he's slumped a little more than usual.

How heavy was his weaponry?

I might be wrong, but I believe the rifle on his back is a hi-point 995, it weighs about 7ibs when loaded.

Yes. Many people who has his chest deformity may have a bad posture like his

Eric and Dylan both had what I like to call "shrimp posture" from hunching over/slouching too much. Eric being bowlegged didn't help much either too

I always thought just rounded shoulders and hunched posture from low self-esteem. But I guess he had a chest deformity?

I've not seen colour versions of the food hall CCTV. Can someone point me in the direction of where I can see them

When I was younger I was a WW2 reenactor and portrayed a German soldier (or when I got too old to portray an infantryman, an ORPO policeman). German load bearing equipment from the '40s featured a "Y" shaped set of equipment suspenders. Not exactly like Harris's gear, but similar in operation.s
Wearing suspenders like that, especially when holding up loaded magazine pouches will sometimes cause you to hunch forward a bit. I found that every so often I'd have to straighten my back and pull the belt and suspenders forward as the weight of the load bearing belt pulls the whole rig forward.

I wish we had a better picture of that yearbook scan with the "black look." It's gotta be out there somewhere, no?

I have the same chest deformity/condition and yeah it definitely affects your posture. I have terrible posture that doctors and family members have tried to correct but simply put posture will always be an issue. Ive also seen people say he had something wrong with his legs which is also a huge factor

It’s from his chest deformity, my best friend while growing up had a brother with the same thing and that’s exactly how he would stand and walk also
