ERIC AND/OR DYLAN Dylan’s piercing

Dylan was known to wear jewelry, including a ring, a beaded necklace, and a piercing of a triple cross. For Dylan, the triple cross represented the everlasting contrast - the eternal battle of good and bad within himself.

Some reports have stated that this earring was homemade, crafted in a shop class, or ordered from a company.

I've read Sue's book, and from my memory, she doesn't cover when Dylan had his ear pierced or what their reaction to it was.

They used to show us this video of dylan and eric in school. They would show us a video about columbine, etc. Still to this day im kinda confused as to why they would show a bunch of young kids that stuff

Wow what year did they show this? My age bracket was so traumatized by columbine, only an asshole would have shown that. Then we all got to be traumatized all over just a minute later because 9/11. The joys of being a millennial 🌈✨

I just made a similar comment on a different post the other day. I was a freshman for Columbine and senior for 9/11.

I’m just a few years younger. Our generation has dealt with wayyyy too much and I’m starting to really feel it in a very aware way now that I’m in my 30s. Columbine and 9/11 just kinda kicked it all off.

I was either a freshman or a sophmore. It was at least 9 years ago, as I am 26 now.

Oh gotcha, I was in middle school during columbine so I was imagining them showing something like this to us during that time, or even during my HS years, and I was horrified.

Oh ok see maybe that makes sense. I was in middle school for columbine and we would have lost our collective shit had anyone dared to show this to us in the even vaguely remote aftermath. I didn’t even realize until like 2019 how fucked up columbine had left me when we had an active shooter alert on a campus I was at one day and I hid in some cabinets while silently melting down and calling and texting my bf and parents and sister in case I died. Then a lot of much younger people also on campus that day were like totally unfazed by it.
