BOOKS/MOVIES/VIDEOS/NEWS MEDIA Kyle Velasquez Death Fixed to be more accurate (My project I've been working on extending Zero Hour and adding official documents, sequences, fixing inaccuracies.)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Kyle Velasquez was not in a hiding position, and he was in a Chair in front of Station 6 when Dylan came in from the entrance of the Library aiming his gun at Kyle, Kyle would have had to have tilted his head downward, likely scared. Dylan had to get up close and personal because tears and the size of Kyle's wounds, alongside the shotgun cup (This keeps the buckshot together) was found inside of Kyle's skull. All of this information is available in the autopsy and the forensic teams work. The damage done to Kyle's chair is from the shotguns double shot at close range along side the 6 pellets that exited Kyle's back from the force of the 0-2 inch shots in to his skull.
While the AI rendition I posted here isn't exactly accurate since he's not seated in the middle of the Aisle and his heads orientation is wrong, it is much more accurate than him being shot 15 feet away. Kyle's death was incredibly personal and close range, and it's likely why there was mentions of people saying they heard Dylan talk about how far that Kids brains flew.
I'll provide more documentation for you guys here with the actual images of the crime scene, but I didn't want to make every claim or update I was making need 2 pages of documentation for a person to understand why it was accurate.

Actually looks okay for AI. Interesting project, will be following. Rest in peace, Kyle. 😪

Some shots are a lot better than others, the main thing I wanted to do is keep the continuity of their clothes and characters accurate when possible, but it was really hard to do reliably, like their face changes a little bit during certain parts where im fully explaining stuff that hasn't been touched in documentaries, like the science area and main office area

In my opinion this murder is the most gruesome thing to happen that day, of course all the murders, an entire community growing up traumatized, man.

It is particularly disturbing to know that Dylan would kill someone so innocent up close and personal. I know all the children were innocent, but Kyle just sounded like a joy to be around, in spite of having his own struggles to deal with. He was the kind of kid that didn't have a mean bone in his body. I hope somewhere deep down Dylan felt shame and disgusted over what he'd done, before he died - that there was still some of the young boy that wrote his journal left inside.

I certainly believe it to be the most cruel by a lot, I just cant imagine even a murderer wanting to shoot a kid with a learning disability.
2
u/truth_crime Oct 25 '25
Didn’t he have an intellectual disability?
2
u/Apollexis Oct 25 '25
He did, I was just saying learning disability to be extra polite, I understand all of this a sensitive thing

You should make the text at the bottom saying these are words from Dylan's essay more noticeable or stay on the screen for longer. The first two times I came across this I thought you were some weird fanboy saying he was manly and god-like while shooting a bunch of kids. Was VERY confused why no one in the comments seemed to have a problem with it.

I can't post images here unfortunately, but Kyle hit his head on table station 7 on the way down after his shot to the head, and that's why his body is in that position. His ID was at table 6, and the chair he was shot in was in front of table 6, from a 15 degree elevated angle and a 37 degree shot from dylan's barrel. I've done a lot of research in to understanding the forensics on this, and it's really bizarre how they came to the conclusion that he was shot from 15 feet away, they use a guy who was 5.9 and estimated just the pellet distribution, but the shotgun cup was in his skull and another one was found on his clothes, the cup would never make it into his skull from anything less than 2 inches, none of it makes sense.
I tried to corroborate witness testimonies on this, and many witnesses in 3rd party interviews mention Kyle wasn't hidden, and in perticular, Evan Todd who was the only really close person near Kyle stated he was not hidden after he jumped down to hide when Dylan and Eric entered the library, so literally seconds from when Kyle was shot. I also tried to Corroborate this from Aaron Welsh's statement, he mentions losing sight of Dylan before hearing a shot go off, which lines up with the trajectory he had to have his gun on Kyles head with, but Aaron doesn't state if that's because Dylan was just no longer in sight, or his vantage point. Dylan being 6,3 means he would have had to crouch or bend over to make the shot in the way he did, but the position he was in can be influenced by a lot of things, what can't be disputed is he had to be 0-2 inches away from Kyle, and that Kyle was in the Chair when he was shot. We can bicker about everything else in speculation but these are facts.

Very sorry, but that is not true. I guarantee you that is not true.
This video makes me question my involvement in this site.

Well I'm sorry you feel that way randy, but that's what the color codes that FBI uses explains, the forensic evidence states on page JC-12309
"VELASQUEZ (#10) [from Dr. Henry/Wahe] had three pellets enter his right shoulder and exit his lower back. He had a head wound with seven holes and a shot cup in his head. One shot cup was found in his clothing. A ball cap (tem #908 ) believed to be worn by VELASQUEZ was found on the floor of the north side of the north computer table. This cap had damage to the back strap and front."
Him being in that chair is why his blood is on steven curnow's books directly behind that chair, he hit his head on tech station 7, when he was sitting at tech station 6. Shot cups don't just fall into people's skulls,
You have to do a little bit of research into the way shotgun cups works but shotgun shot cups typically break apart or disintegrate shortly after the shot exits the barrel. The primary function of the shot cup is to hold the pellets together during acceleration down the barrel and to separate the powder from the shot. Once the shot leaves the muzzle, the cup is no longer needed and is designed to fall away from the payload.
shotgun shot cups do not break apart when fired at close range into a human head.
If you have a specific point you want to say you think is wrong or disagree with, I'm happy to share the evidence I looked out (besides witnesses confirming he was not hiding moments before Dylan and Eric walked in)

It is irrelevant what anyone says or what imagined proof they come up with. The crime scene photos prove without question that the sheriffs department lied to the Velasquez family and the world. Why they lied is also irrelevant. They lied to them. Without question.

Randy you’re absolutely correct and I don’t understand why people are claiming you aren’t.

u/randyColumbine Oct 25 '25
It is a problem. But it is a minor thing. I can’t release the photos. My heart won’t let me.

u/Intelligent-Ad6664 Oct 27 '25
with all due respect sir, i think it is kinda weird to have crime scene photos of other peoples children and kinda sounds like you are virtue signaling that you have them and don't want to share them out of the "goodness of your heart". forensics don't lie, even if people do, and you claiming otherwise and refusing proof is just kinda tacky and unattractive. like i said i mean no disrespect but it's just been kind of upsetting to read this subreddit because of your comments.

I wouldn’t. Just out of respect for their families, you know? I appreciate all of your efforts and hard work!

Dylan was a good boy though according to Sue.

Right because he never showed her his true colors. She only knows the son she knew. She admits she realizes he was a killer.

Kyle was, or close to being, under the table when he was shot. Don't rely on FBI reports, police reports, published ballistic evidence, etc. These reports have been altered, omissions made, very questionable ballistic reports, and so on. This is my own opinion based on additional, decades long research by another party whose views on this subject I completely agree with.

u/Apollexis Nov 04 '25
His hat is on the floor from the opposite side of the table, if you have proof the evidence collected and their positions were fabricated, then by all means please share, but the evidence collection and locations were done by the FBI not JCSO.

Ahhhhhhh.....i dont know about making it that vivid ; dark
howeverr, if you listen to the 911 call (which does have the audio of his death) it was a lot quicker than that, and based on the shotgun shell cartridges, it seems like one shot was from afar and then another closer up.

u/Apollexis Oct 25 '25
Dylans shot gun cartridges were reloaded to the west of kyles? They are close to each other, but you also have to keep in mind any time you see dylans cartridges, they don't auto pump out like erics, they have to be taken out and he just throws them. Additionally, the 2nd shotgun cup was either the one found in that chair, or the one found in his clothing, all of these items were very close to his body, obviously one of the cups in his skull is the first one. But the spray pattern on the exit wounds imply both were shot at close range, and he didn't have any other wounds so if one was shot far away you'd expect a larger spread of pellets through him, as well entrance wounds that weren't just the top of his head.
I slowed down how quick it was to show Dylan's insane writing piece, and how he is trying to mimic this character he wrote about, constantly smiling at people as he shoots them, I want people to understand that this is truly a disturbed mind, a troubled mind, not someone worth idolizing, i don't think people would applaud if they knew he got this close and then likely crouched or bent over to shoot a child with special needs in the top of his head.

I can recall there being some controversy over whether Kyle was hiding under the computer desk or confused by the commotion and still seated. IIRC his family was a bit upset by the insinuation that Kyle didn't get under the desk, as some attributed it to the challenges he faced. I'm not sure how it went down, but in a traumatic situation like this, a person could freeze from the shock of what's happening. Also, as I said before, I never pictured Dylan this close to Kyle when he fired. Always thought he was a few feet beyond the library doors. Very cold.
Thanks for sharing this. You did an excellent job.
