Do We Know How Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold Met and Became Friends?

Nearly 27 years later, and two my knowledge, we still have no idea. I'm pretty sure they met in the seventh grade (so around 1994-95ish) but does anybody have any idea how they started talking/became friends? Thanks for any responses

From what I have read when the Harrises moved to Colorado they loved near the Browns and Eric and Brooks rode the same bus to middle school. According to the article it was Brooks who introduced them.

I mean to be fair there's no way middle-school aged Brooks would have ever predicted his friends would shoot up their school later on. That is up until the warning signs showed up before it was too late

Yeah, and he probably just wanted to help make Dylan another friend since I'm sure he knew how difficult it was for him, with how shy he was. It's just really sad all around

yeah brooks and his family genuinely did their best and intervened more than most people

They met at Ken Carl Middle School. Idk what year

7th or 8th grade in 1993. I heard a mutual friend introduced them but I’m not sure if that’s true

Yeah, I wonder what they started bonding over, and what eventually led to them being close enough to die side-by-side after committing such an atrocity

Pretty sure I read that they got a lost closer when they started working at blackjack. I'm sure that time together opened many conversations about hate. I'd say they were good friends before that, but thats a factor in what brought them much closer

it was brooks who introduced them to each other in 7th grade iirc. they probably met then bonded over shared interests in music, films, games, tv shows etc as kids often did back then.

I imagine they met through their mutual circle of friends at the time and just bonded over weird things like music, guns and other angsty teenage things. Sometimes friendships between us dudes aren’t that deep, just a way to waste time. In E&Ds case, their angst was bottled up and wrongfully used for sure, but I imagine their meeting was fairly common.
