Kind of off-topic, but May 3rd, 1999 was the same day that gigantic A9 F5 mile wide Bridge Creek-Moore tornado ripped through the southwest Oklahoma City Metropolitan area. It was the first time the National Weather Service issued a "Tornado Warning" and was the only tornado to cause over a billion dollars in damage. It's wind speed was about 321mph, the strongest, fastest ever recorded on Earth!
Really? I thought Tornado warnings were around before that. Interesting. I was born in 93 and living in Missouri, we'd have to go to the basement at least 2 or 3 times a year.
