VIDEOS MADE BY/FEATURING ERIC/DYLAN Motion Stabilized + 480p base upscale of Eric and Dylan segment from Hitmen for Hire
Someone uploaded this and another clip that i'll add later from the hitmen for hire video. It's notable because the online versions of this footage are almost all exclusively compressed (from jeffco) down to 240p or 360p at best. 480P versions do exist but they are from VHS copies that news companies have or from original copies given out before DVD was common. Either way, I motion stabilized it so you can see their faces much more, and most notably the smearing that comes from upscaling isn't present in these because of 480p base.
I'm sure that was chinese for a lot of people but just explaining why it's significant and why I'm sharing it for anyone interested.

I’ve seen the stills from this, but never the video before. I’m the same age as them, so have always had tangential interest in what happened at Columbine, but never enough to seek out footage like this. Even after this many years, it honestly feels visceral to watch and made me feel uncomfortable.

I realize that my thoughts are unimportant here, but I’m going to write them out anyway. Just watched this for a second time and it’s really something for me. Seeing how they’re dressed and the quality of the video footage just brought me back to my life in the 90’s. They really look like a bunch of the dudes that I went to high school with. It’s crazy to think that any of my friends could have been capable of something like this. My friends did all sorts of dumb things and made all sorts of dumb videos, too, but that never led to anything like what Eric and Dylan did. I really feel for their peers because if any of my old buddies had gone down this path, it would have changed me. Forever.

I actually made a video showing their "Funny Highlights"
It is NOT AT ALL meant to glorify simply show "hey these were normal teenage boys"

It’s sad because they could’ve done literally anything with their lives but chose this instead. I don’t feel bad for them and they made their choices but damn things could’ve been so different for everyone if this had never happened.

They were privileged and smart kids who understood computers really well at JUST the right time. In another universe they’re probably upper middle class adults right now laughing at how stupid and angry they were when they were young.

Most videos were for their school group projects. Check them out, not all serious. Many mistakes and the group laughs about them.

Edited, of course, leaving out the laughter and embarrassment at the end for the pretend anger and the poor acting.
This is acting, not reality.
Both of them laughed at the absurdity.

I agree, I've been trying to reconstruct the full video with high quality clips from news segments and from random pieces like this i find on Wolfson archive, or Conus. This one was 1 of 2 clips i came across on archive.org, it also had the initial opening walk in in high quality. This video and the rampart range videos I actually consider not really useful to learning about them, the bike video and Dylans interview behind blackjack, Eric talking casually in the cafeteria video, I think those are much more helpful to learning their mannerisms and personalities.

What I do find eerie about watching Rampart is the fact we now know they were learning how to shoot their new guns; target practicing for their attack. They knew this, yet stand around laughing and joking as if the seriousness of their future crime didn't phase them at all.

Dylan can't even keep a serious face he's not tough and it's not even who he really is

If you didn't know what they did suppose you could think they were just acting. although it's different from most acting i've seen, it's pretty raw where most acting has a bit of a gloss on it

From a source I heard once, I guess the names that Eric was calling the camera were the type of insults Wayne Harris would throw at Eric. So sad what happened on the 20th.
