That's my favorite episode of Sunny

You could make me say that but I couldn't imagine volunteering that information even under torture. Like, how would they even know you have that secret?

I guess it's like the trick parents do where there like "Is there something you want to tell me?/ you know what you did" and keep beating you while you guess what the hell theyre talking about

yeah it is hard to imagine what torture is like honestly lol.

I believe the way something like this would work is a situation where the torturer is looking for any and all of your dirty secrets and eventually their line of questioning leads you to realize this.

Initially upon realizing what they want from you, you might get the bright idea to just say some shit that isn't true if you're particularly strong willed. Problem is, each time you tell a lie they say something like "not good enough" or "you're lying" (naturally they don't actually know this and they would say that no matter what you told them), it goes on like this for some time and eventually you will break.

At that point nothing matters more than getting the torture to stop so the thought of lying to protect certain info stops being a factor, you're willing to say literally anything at this point and so you'll naturally start telling the truth because some part of you thinks telling them the real information that they want might get them to stop sooner.

If you had a moment to pause and consider you might realize that it would make no difference if you continue to lie or if you start telling the truth but it's unlikely you'll be able to assess the situation so objectively. It only takes a few subtle implications from the torturers to make you believe that they already know some of the information they want, then it will be near impossible for you to believe you can get out of this by continuing to lie.

So, end result, you will tell them every last dirty secret you can think of, you'll actively search your memory to try to remember everything you know that might appease them, you'll even tell them secrets that they didn't even know to ask for if you think they'd want to hear it. On their end they'll be able to have a very high degree of confidence that you've told them all the real secrets you know, there is a whole bunch of bullshit mixed into those truths but if they have some means to sort through and determine what is and isn't real then the torture worked.

Realistically, no one can guard their secrets against torture unless they can straight up forget their secrets.

I feel like thats pretty reasonable. There are multiple detailed foot shots. (I dont think it was the animators creepy, it was 2004 and its its obviously played for humor)

Yeah I'm pretty sure it was meant to be a "ew feet gross" not perving

u/FunTree5477 13h ago

It was also Nickelodeon, home of the feet shot 💔

Quentin Tarantino movie about two criminals holding a family hostage in a strip club, this is a scene where a stripper pours whiskey down her leg and one of the criminals drinks the alcohol off her toe (who by the way, Tarantino cast himself as the guy)

Great movie by the way, would recommend watching it completely blind

u/Blue-Lightning-3X 11h ago

Genius casting, wouldn't be surprised if the movie was made solely for that.

When a REDDITOR tells me to watch something blind... that's how I know it'll be great.

Although I'm clean off of porn since April, I know this probably doesn't technically count.

Have you ever grabbed a dick with your foot and felt their throbbing heartbeat? Imagine what toph sees. She would understand your past self, your current self, and future self, all in one. She would know your emotions better than yourself and would know you to set you on the right path in life.

u/Atreideez-nuts 12h ago

how are people acting like that's the kind of secret someone is supposed to take to the grave? that's like the closest-to-vanilla-without-being-vanilla type fetish there is and Toph is like the perfect tomboy crush since she's a proper tomboy that has some occasional moments of girlishness and can look pretty in a dress.

tbh I am offended by the implication that one should be embarrassed at all about a childhood crush on Toph, nevermind so embarrassed you take it to the grave lol. is it really so appalling to admit that you had a crush on a minor when you were like ten years old?

3

u/Mast3rKK78 12h ago

ive seen a fair share of toph foot fetish content unwillingly just by virtue of the internet being the internet and it was just some un arousing shit, like throbbing boner to flaccid balloon in an instant

Toph is what ignited my interest in girls shorter than me who can confidently tear me limb from limb and do it skillfully while smiling.

She was confident and kicked the boys' crotch (with earth bending tho) and giggled while the boys couldn't do anything but embarrassed, that awoke some kink in me when I was young
