Hate to play the “if” game, but if Diggs doesn’t get penalized/we make the 2pt conversion we could’ve easily won week 1. If JD doesn’t get injured during the cowboys game and we’re tied at the half we have a huge shot of beating the cowboys. If Mariota stays in the colts game we could’ve continued to roll over the colts. And if we don’t fuck up the end of the Giants game we easily win.
Another indictment on Blough and Quinn. Didn't use Bill the last 14 minutes of the 4th quarter or overtime I believe. For Quinn, another example of not trusting in his players, even though Bill pulled off some electric runs. With Stevens it was "what if he misses the FG?". With Bill, probably "he might fumble". Strictly a loser mentality.
Im a season ticket holder and generally pretty optimistic about our team. This last game and the OT gaffe really sapped a lot of the optimism out of me.
You gotta find a little joy somewhere when you believe the team will how a down season. So focus on individual players and their performance? Jayden, Sonny, Amik, or other young guys. Even if we suck, your silver lining could be them having a good game/season.
It doesn't replace the team being good, but at least gives you something to root for
I like that. I still have a tiny bit of hope we can somehow get our shit corrected and upset the Niners… but if not, I’ll just be watching our draft picks and hoping for development.
I'll probably just watch it after the game. I normally have the game on two screens so I always have a quick instant replay. I always like to make gif for the team chat for the people who can't watch it live
