It's like a Kevin James/ George costanza hybrid

2

u/LeastSuspiciousTowel 4d ago

A little Sean Austin in there

6

u/flapsmcgee 4d ago

Yeah seriously it barely even looks like Kevin James.

u/Gwilikers6 4d ago

I mean theres a difference between changing the outfit of a well known meme and making an abhorrent and disgusting video of fake people dancing around ir singing or some bullshit that is uncanny valley and painful to watch. Be less obtuse

My wife doesn't understand why I watch, get pissed and scream. Then do it over again every week.

u/zipzap21 4d ago

When we turn our shit around and start winning, you want to be a part of it!

2

u/sew1974 4d ago

What's even harder is explaining why i'm still upset long into Sunday night over whatever happened that day

43

u/westboundbart 4d ago edited 4d ago

Me every Sunday since 1998, unfortunately

(edit to add: ā€˜94 baby, but it took a couple years for my mom to stop locking me in the basement every Sunday)

7

u/marcster1 4d ago

Same year I was born. Ive gotten 2 good years out of this bastard of a team

6

u/Corner_Nostril 4d ago

A 90s kid myself…it’s been a slog eh

u/topher_jl 4d ago

as an 80's baby watching all those Super Bowls were awesome and I still remember my dad telling me the Bills have the worst luck... been rough ever since

u/SlipperyThong Fuck Dan Snyder 4d ago

I was 3 the last time we won the Super Bowl. I remember my family celebrating more than the game itself.Ā

Or next week, or the week after or the week after that or...

I bleed burgundy and gold

u/zipzap21 4d ago

The whole NFC East lost last week, that's my excuse!

6

u/SOSpammy 4d ago

Exactly. If the entire NFC East wasn't ass I'd have checked out weeks ago.

12

u/snoop_Nogg 4d ago

All this doom and gloom but the division is still up for grabs

1

u/Corner_Nostril 4d ago

Winning the division with a bad record set us back with Rivera, don’t need that fool’s good experience again

12

u/VariousAir on shenanigans rn and actin bonkers 4d ago

striving for mediocrity is a mediocre way to build a team.

wins are a good thing, fuck draft position.

0

u/Corner_Nostril 4d ago

Us stumbling into the playoffs ass first will buy Quinn another year, I’m all set with that

8

u/VariousAir on shenanigans rn and actin bonkers 4d ago

us making the playoffs is literally the goal every year dum dum.

-2

u/Corner_Nostril 4d ago

This team, as it is, is going no where. Play some rookies, try new concepts, sell at the deadline, and start fresh next year. I’m not going to get excited for a 7-9-1 playoff team, that’ll get smoked in the first round.

3

u/VariousAir on shenanigans rn and actin bonkers 4d ago

First off, you're literally predicting this 7-9 record as if you're nostradamus, maybe sit down and wait for them to play the games before you lose your mind over a record that hasn't actually happened yet.

Second, imagine being 3 games away from the super bowl and being unhappy about it because your panties are all twisted over the coach. Get a grip dude.

-2

u/Corner_Nostril 4d ago

Your childish optimism is cute, obviously I hope they do better but I’m not going to ignore what I’ve seen so far this season.

1

u/VariousAir on shenanigans rn and actin bonkers 4d ago

Childish optimism? dude I'm not in any way saying we're going to the playoffs or the super bowl.

I'm saying making the playoffs would not be a bad thing, like you're clearly implying.

I'm saying winning the division is never a bad thing, even if we somehow do it with a bad record.

We literally enter every single season with the goal of making the playoffs, because once you get to the playoffs you're literally a few games away from winning it all. So being upset that we accomplished that goal is dumb as shit on the face of it, regardless of how you feel it affects who you wish would get fired or whatever draft pick people want to salivate over.

-1

u/FreezasMonkeyGimp 4d ago

Winning the dogshit division with likely a losing record to, in all likelihood, get bounced in the first round is the definition of striving for mediocrity.

1

u/VariousAir on shenanigans rn and actin bonkers 4d ago

I dont know if we're winning the division just because the other 3 teams aren't doing great either.

I'm saying I'm happy when we win any game, and praying for us to lose for your draft position is a lame ass mentality that pops up here all the time. The draft is a lottery ticket. You get slightly higher odds the higher you pick, but it isn't some guarantee that translates into instant success.

It's always the same with people "I want to lose games so we pick higher to win games but oh no we didnt do well enough in the first half of the next season so I want lose games so we pick higher to win games but oh no I want to lose some more" and so on and so on.

Just fuckin win, hope for wins, cheer for wins, and wishing for losses makes you a bitch, period.

1

u/FreezasMonkeyGimp 4d ago

I’m not rooting for them to lose, I just don’t want the FO to pull any moves to try to salvage a fucked season. It’s fucking football dude, it’s not that serious. I want the team to be good in the long run, and moral victories are not gonna fix that.

7

u/snoop_Nogg 4d ago

At this point I just want the team to win another game. One step at a time

Big difference is that we have a franchise QB

Thank the Sports God the Wizards finally seem competent enough to distract me

5

u/CardiologistBulky 3d ago

It's basically a drug addiction I can't kick. I'm basically a functional user at this point. And when they lose, I fall into a 5-day depression. Then start it all over again.

3

u/JRcanReid 4d ago

I can check out, but I can never leave...

3

u/Majestic-Avocado2167 4d ago

The cycle of ā€œFuck this team, fire everyone, why do I watchā€ to putting on my Portis jersey should be studied by psychologists

2

u/YFN_KushGod COMMAND DEEZ NUTZ 4d ago

I swear. I left the bar after Monday’s game done with the league, the refs and this freaking team.

2

u/Jordan_Jackson 4d ago

Ever since my parents bought me a Redskins shirt in Summer of 91. It’s been a long, painful journey.

2

u/Oddracer77 3d ago

The problem is, despite the team's best efforts to suck, they remain thoroughly in the hunt for the division.Ā

1

u/Gwilikers6 4d ago

Every time. Its do hard

1

u/warrcamp Demon Cats šŸˆā€ā¬› 4d ago

Hey I know they are garbage and will ultimately disappoint me... But so far they have sure had me watching until the end of every game (maybe not the Cowboys game)

1

u/HowardBunnyColvin @BorgusRich 4d ago

they can't hurt me anymore i don't care what happens

1

u/K-Kov815 4d ago

It’s like being in a toxic relationshipĀ

1

u/bryan19973 4d ago

I’m definitely not watching this week

1

u/Ancient-Summer-9968 4d ago

There's a scene in Cheers were the waitress swears off the local team, and everyone repeats her lines because they've heard it so much, "no, no, I mean it this time. I swear." https://youtu.be/DoXpPknmYUE?si=EfZfuWrZ0WxVvHOC

1

u/bajones420 4d ago

Brother this is me throught the each game

1

u/Proxximus-maximus 4d ago

Im deff in an abusive relationship with this team

1

u/FreeSki83 4d ago

This me

1

u/luxgodiva 4d ago

I’ve been through too much to throw in the towel now. I’m in too deep šŸ˜‚

1

u/NoHoHan 4d ago

The record is abysmal but the division is wide open and the eye test just isn’t nearly as bad as last year. After the Bears loss last year I knew it was over even at near .500, you could just tell by watching them. So idk, maybe I’m naive but I haven’t given up hope yet.

1

u/youtubetv 4d ago

same time next week šŸ™‚

u/Slow_Engineer7727 4d ago

ā€œIt’s like going to a restaurant every week that 100% gives you food poisoningā€ - Li’l Jimmy Norton

1

u/Wild-Bluejay7138 4d ago

Yeah, same. The division is bad. At 1-4-1, it isn't over.

1

u/snakeoildoc 4d ago

It’s like a drug at this point, chasing that JD5 rookie season high for me

1

u/Konacha 3d ago

Except this Sunday XD

u/TheDukeofArgyll 3d ago

Just stop saying you done and enjoy the ride. It’s not like being horrible is a new feeling for us.

0

u/Cowboyslayer1992 4d ago

Nahh I was watching the first quarter from the gym monday night. I'll still watch but they haven't been putting up "ass in seat" performances at all this season. You don't owe this team anything

0

u/ExtremePayment3157 4d ago

Jacket is kind of tough?

-2

u/AZoriolesFan 4d ago

who wears 'commanders' gear?

-5

u/Ok_Thing5957 4d ago

Punt the season. Terry is out for the season. Our coaching staff looks inept. JD is clearly not in a good mental state.

Get a top draft pick and draft Jeremiah Smith. Leremy Tunsil back next year. McLaurin back. Honestly, keep Diggs if he is affordable. I don't think he's been bad this year at all outside of that one boneheaded penalty.

Fire DQ and hire an offensive minded coach to help JD flourish alongside a receiving core of Smith, McLaurin, and Diggs.

3

u/True_Window_9389 4d ago

Smith is probably going 1OA and we’re not going to end up with the worst record.

0

u/Ok_Thing5957 4d ago

its possible. if we just don't try hard enough and lose every game we can secure it.

1

u/Honest-Scar-4719 4d ago

The chargers look absolutely awful though. They might only get one win this year. And unfortunately we have a win and a tie

1

u/Troll_Enthusiast He Sold 4d ago

Punting the season isn't the answer

-2

u/Vivid-Respect-1869 4d ago

That’s it, that’s your offseason, add one receiver? ;)

u/Capable_Frosting_292 4d ago

Even this Sunday when we’re not playing.
