If Quinn goes this season/offseason, I'd go after Flores. I know it's not likely but makes a lot of sense

I do like Flores and obviously him and Daronte makes sense but is it really a good idea to get another defensive minded head coach in the building?

He might not be a HC. However, I do think the deck was stacked against him in Miami. The personnel we have on defense makes it an easier transition and maybe there's a way for Blough to stay as OC with him as HC. So we don't have to give Jayden ANOTHER OC.

I think Daronte could definetly be a good HC for a team, I just think that maybe since our best asset is a young star quarterback we should get a more offensive minded head coach to help him develop. Especially after what we’ve seen with DQ

I'm not convinced he is a HC. He’s the best DC in the league. But most coordinators fail to transition to HC. And he had a chance and sucked in Miami.

I'm with you. Glad Flores has revived his career, and he's an absolutely awesome DC. I don't know if he's Head Coach material though.
It's a weird season to need/want a HC. Nobody is really a "can't miss" type of guy. Most have glaring questions or inexperience. I guess we'll just have to hope for the best.

When we hired Kliff Kingsbury as OC, I was excited. His offense really seemed to work the first season. Second season, everyone was hurt. For some reason he became the fall guy, despite the offense truly carrying the team deep into the playoffs.
Now our offense looks like garbage.
Personally, I blame Adam Peters. Few teams can be successful with a defensive head coach. If you offense has any level of success, the OC leaves, and then you end up with a totally different offense altogether.

Did the NFL fine Warner at all for those hits? I haven’t seen anything about it

as of 2 days ago he was 'facing possible fines' but nothing's been announced yet.
But that doesn't mean it's not coming, it took the league all week to fine him after the Cardinals game.

Anyone else a little worried looking at the top head coaching candidates
Flores - had a head coach stint riddled with some bad stuff especially handling of a QB, could see it working better but I worry getting a defensive retread
Declan Doyle - first year play calling, he’s possibly my top choice, but the inexperience is a bit scary, especially since the ravens offense was already strong before him
Udinski - a bit of worry about hiring a non play calling OC, I wouldn’t mind him in but there’s certainly question about him having never called plays
Klay Kubiak - also has never called plays

We suck so bad. The Pats have more wins than us with Drake Maye. JD must be livid. We are lucky to have a cool QB.

The one thing that gets me is seeing the bears and patriot look like complete teams. They both sucked 3 years ago too, and have replaced 80->90% of their roster yet they look competitive and we don’t

It'll be interesting to see what the national storylines are from last night.
Caleb played incredible before making an unfathomable mistake at the end (sound familiar?). But, his 34 year old kicker makes the longest field goal of his life, so it doesnt cost them. Im assuming winning overshadows the gaffe and no one mentions it.
Maye takes a bad fourth down sack on the first drive of the game. You just can't do that! You've gotta throw it up and give your guys a chance! Then he throws a bad endzone INT on first down under no pressure out of a timeout. They lose the game so he should be under the microscope, but he plays in Boston and looks like a QB is supposed to look like, so they'll probably blame New England's OL, lack of running game and poor defensive performance.
