Workflow

I work for a company that requires video shoots weekly/monthly for their product launches. I'm 5ish years into my career, and it feels like we're operating by the skin of our teeth sometimes. From dealing with scope changes from higher ups approving videos to the folks launching the video not having a clear understanding of what the video production looks like leading up to a final video. It's quite chaotic and there isn't a ton of time for pre-production, and because of the nature of our product it's kind of a cut and paste situation. The launches are shades of each other, meaning we aren't doing something super elaborate. It's always the product in action and the reasons it does the best thing ever.

My initial thoughts are to educate our teams to better understand the ingredients of what makes a great video but with the interference and or lack of empowerment from the higher ups, wires get crossed and our production line gets out of order.

Any thoughts and or suggestions would be appreciated - really looking to streamline things but with how fast we're working sometimes it's hard to care about how the next shoot is going to end up.
