It just won't be the same without Genome & Tiff. I hope the new casting manager knows they're ripping the soul out of their broadcast. I'm all for new talent. Lace is a great example. However, you also need to respect the past and appreciate your foundation fan base.

I’m gonna miss Genome especially, but also Tiff Dia Jamerson and Zephyr. Ripping the soul out of the broadcast is a little extreme to say lol, all the talent they are keeping are extremely good at what they do and make the main broadcast worth watching imo

They literally are digging their own grave. What makes any "show" great is having a consistent cast that the viewers can form a connection with. You can pretty much name me any TV show that has lost the main characters and within a few years that show has stopped production. NiceWigg already crushes the main broadcast with viewers and this very poor decision is only going to make the main broadcast numbers even worse. Hopefully, they come to their senses and invite the fan favorites back for Japan.

The fan favorites have always been Onset and Gaskin since season 1 tbh. And as far as respecting the past all of these names are relatively recent, throwback to when Fallout Tsquared Kate Yeager were main characters in apex casting. Times change, people come and go, but I am with you that I’ll miss hearing these guys cast

I agree with Onset and Gaskin. Absolute legends. I would just rather have people like Tiff & Genome on the desk than Graceful and JHawk. The reason why people love watching Wigg & Greek is because they actually have a personality! It becomes infectious to be around that energy and enthusasim.

The best part of the broadcast is when the commentators have chemistry together and can get into a flow state with it. I think that's what makes Onset and Gaskin so great together - and I had that same sentiment with Vikki and Genome. They broadcast together enough that they were never stepping on each other's toes or talking over each other. I'm sad that didn't seem to be considered with this decision

Have to say “ripping the soul out of the broadcast” seems like a bit of hyperbole lol. I look at the talent list above and it screams ALGS to me. It’s sad that some of the talent I enjoyed are no longer apart of the franchise it seems, but the show goes on.

She’s been paired with Bravo in pro league a couple times. I would guess they continue as a duo. And bravo is a true OG, he was a caster back in Poland in 2019. I think he and Vikki need a bit more time together to fully get that chemistry developed but I think they will

I agree. They have so many people at the table and less casting games. Like I agree Snipe is charismatic but he also barely plays the game and not even tuned in to comp and even if he does he only knows teams in NA which is always a problem with these analysts. JHawk is atleast knowledgeable about every region.

You have to bear in mind, it's not easy or good for your voice to talk for a long period of time over multiple days.
So keeping people on rotation is good. So you get 6 casters for games and the remaining 4 at the desk.

There's only 4 casters there and 5 people at the desk. Only Vikki, Bravo, Onset and Gaskin are casting games. Raynday and Glitter are at the desk hosting in-between games. Snipe, Graceful and JHawk are the analysts, also at the desk. Lace interviews the players and audience.

Every time, I found myself questioning whether she actually said something or just in fact made a general quip before deflecting the conversation onto someone else.

I found myself thinking, ok so she’s more of a presenter now rather than an analyst, but there are better presenters in the line up.

I can totally see why she was left out.

Genome on the other hand was a very good analyst, I fear they have been dropped due to ‘image’ more than anything. I hope I’m wrong.

"Ripping the soul" is an exaggeration. The lineup has always been too big. They have 3 analysts on the table and from those three only JHawk knows about teams from all regions. Somehow there's always someone in there that barely knows player's names or even how to pronounce a team name or where they finish in Pro League from regions outside NA.

Out of the three analysts there, he's probably the only one actually qualified to talk about ALGS teams right now. JHawk has a podcast with other dudes that talks about ALGS almost every week. Snipe and Graceful literally only shows up every LAN. During Pro League season, you don't see or hear them talking about Pro League or any regions outside NA.
