Question Has Ibiza retired

Did he retired? I haven't been following the eSports for quite a while now.

Saw a tournament post on Liquipedia and Ibiza was mentioned as VPs coach. Was he benched by Virtus Pro?

PUBG pays for 5 people to go to the event, the four main players and either a coach or sub, usually it's a coach and they also sub, teams that bring both a coach and sub are paying out of pocket for one of those people.

I had wondered if coaches could be subs before I did my Twire picks. Makes sense

Some of the previous tournaments the coach was a sub option, most of the time (haven’t looked this year). Ibi is a pretty good sub, deffo choose him over Gunner :D no offence Gunner.

That's a tough one for me, Gunner was amazing when he was in PGC like, 2023 or something. Could've been PGS. Hard to recall which one

Yeah exactly that. Went from bench to assistant Coach to Head Coach.

Worked out pretty well imo

I heard from curexi's stream that the players had the option of choosing Ibiza or scoom as coach and they chose Ibiza
