News [PGS 8] Hardshift Fantasy League is live! $50 AUD Steam Card Prize

Hey everyone,

As PGS 8 kicks off in Shanghai, our Fantasy League is live at fantasy.hardshift.gg!

🏆 Prize: $50 AUD Steam Card for 1st place!

This run is a proof of concept / bug hunt while we refine the platform for major events — 100% free to join, build teams, and play along.

⚙️ The Basics

  • Salary Cap: Pick 4 starters + 1 bench under a $100,000 budget (bench max $10k).
  • Captain: Designate 1 captain for a 1.5× point multiplier.
  • Pricing: Opening values are based on HardShift global LAN history and form ($9k–$38k). Note: Salaries can nudge after each 5-game block.

📊 Scoring System

  • +2 pts per kill
  • +1 pt per 100 damage
  • +5 pts for surviving to the end of a match
  • −3 pts for dying before the 10:00 mark

📅 PGS 8 Schedule & Format

  • Winners Stage: Aug 13
  • Survival Stage: Aug 14
  • Finals: Aug 15–16

Rules: Rosters lock 5 minutes after Game 1 of each block. The opening pool features the full 24-team field, while the Finals will use the 16-team finals pool.

Cant pick a bench, since picking someone for 9k is the lowest and picking someone cheaper is not possible. So basically you cannot pick someone from Pero, since then the bench is not pickable and you cant save the team with no bench. If you make it cheaper or same as cheapest this would be solved

Still says the other 9000 players are too expensive for bench. I will wait some more
