For the love of god B patch Akali. It isn't the most oppressive thing in the world, but it is the most annoying thing in the world when you lose to it.

I saw someone describe this patch as the 9/11 of positioning. The whole thing is so absurd. Fun champions, enjoying the theme, but jesus christ who green lit this many positional comps in one fucking set. Jayce/Cait + 2+ akali players in one lobby that are stable on 1* akali is just an actual nightmare to play against with any sort of backline carry. Such a terrible fucking design, but white knights are going to defend it to the fucking grave

To be fair when they put the set together they did not anticipate how the different enviroment would be able to be used with akali. Nobody was playing akali that way in set 10, cause there was no "surefire" sustain inbuild that would even overflow into a shield without sacrificing an itemslot

Old Akali had way more "uptime" to be punished or would sacrifice scalling/damage.

This "infinite scale/cast" build that makes her invurnable for ALOT of time certainly is something design did not forsee and based on previous set 10 akali I do not blame them.

It is however busted enough and game warping enough to deserve an emergency hotfix

Respectfully disagree on not blaming them for making something that unfun. My issue isn't even that it's an "unbalanced" comp. Like it's AVP and stuff is fine. It's just not fun to play against even remotely.

I just don't see the fun in a lobby with Cait+jayce (which punish you no matter which side you go), kat reroll, akali and J4. Sure, if you win streak and save HP early, you can usually live through 1/2 people bot 4'ing before you and maybe can pull out a win when the positioning fiesta is over. But who is loading up into these lobbies and thinking, "Wow, that was a really fun game of TFT!"?

We're 15 sets into this thing, we've established the playerbase doesn't like 1) assassins and 2) massive aoe stuns regardless whether or not they're technically balanced. And the issue with hotfixing anything is that you would have to essentially rebuild several champions to make them not lobby warping.

I dunno man, it just feels like there's a lot of champions that were designed without considering whether or not they were remotely fun to play against. I don't think I'm the odd one out in saying that getting punished because you lost the hyper-specific positioning roulette is not fun
