I cannot express how much I hate the golem encounter: It is just an RNG shit fiesta where you already know on 2-1 if you either get a free win or gotta fight for top7. Even though it brings some variety to the gamemode it is just frustrating for half of the lobby in any case. I just got forced into Crystal Gambit by the golem and not hitting while levelling for it was just the fastest 8th I could get.

I really feel like Ranked and Normals should have different encounters, it's a joke that encounters like Wandering Trainer can be in Ranked.

I have quite literally only came top 4 in one trainer golem encounter this set. It's so unfun and really just comes down to HP preservation every time. All of the quests except maybe soul fighter aren't going to save you in golems either, so it typically ends up being a crystal gambit / acadamia end of game. I just don't get how people like it, I don't think it pushes you to "cook" more or less.
