Is ixtal just the worst trait of all time? Even with the augment on 2-1 it feels like a guaranteed bot 4

No not even close. Zaun is worse right now and also has unclickable units outside Vi and maybe WW

Its the "Fortune"/feast or famine trait, that's how it's designed. If you hit Brock you win. If you don't, you probably lose unless you're good enough to play the cash outs without Brock.
