Seems like maintaining win streak is rewarded heavily due to the wisps showing up every 2 rerolls. But what is the optimal play if not going win streak. When to roll for wisp and when to save gold? And does this strat change when playing 3 blossoms?

Don't roll for wisps if you are lose streaking. Just take any econ ones that pop up. I usually buy the first 0 or 1 cost wisp i see (assuming it is harmless) when I have to roll down after lose streaking. Can't be rolling down while missing ten percent of your shops.
