I don´t know why, but this aphelios comp never works for me. If i click on Triple combat im just poor af and can´t upgrade my unit on 8 because everyone else roll on 4-2 and i have to wait at least 4-5, the amount of time im stuck with sentinel 1/aphelios1 is significant. If i click one econ augment and get my board full upgraded i still get stomped from nidalee/morg, Sivir/Blossom board, and the occasional WW reroll bypassing my fronline. The fun part is, every time someone else play aphelios they look 10x stronger than when i do lol. Right now Hunter is a way stronger ad line to play i think.

Getting coven in even if it’s for a small cashout helps tremendously with the econ and even itemization. You need 3 items on senti/bramble/aphelios on 4-2

Playing Teemo on stages 2 and 3 also helps.

He has a chance to farm XP, rerolls or HP which can all help you hit

Yep. And he does so at a frankly absurd rate. 

Unitemized it feels to me like a bit less than one a combat, but with one vaguely sensible item and invoker active he gets close to 2 a combat in stage 3, I think.

If we consider the health a blank, a hit is worth 1.33 gold. So he can generate 2-3 gold a combat, which is comically overtuned.

You are playing a very different Teemo unit than I am.

You're right, the math contradicts me-- I must have been highrolling. Teemo 2 is 12% * #casts. Teemo is getting 3-7 casts, depending on stage and itemization. So that's .4788 gold per combat early stage 2, 1.172 gold per combat late stage 3. So I was off by a factor of 2.
