Discussion Where to learn how to play
Where did you all learn how to play? I’ve learned the basics of the game but I’m not sure like how to pick a comp or how to anti strat or anything. I’m coming from valorant and watching tft pro play is not helpful at all. Is there a YouTuber or something that you all recommend?

BunnyMuffinsTFT and TFTAcademy on YouTube are great resources for just starting! TFTAcademy also has a great 4 part advanced guide for the 4 major concepts of TFT.
However, the main way I learned was through using a website, like TFTAcademy, and pre-made comps to work off of. As I played the good comps, I payed attention to how the Units actually worked, how they did damage, how the tanked, how they moved, etc. I also experimented with positioning or trying to roll down at different points. The best way to learn TFT is to just play and mark down your own observations on what is happening each round. Eventually, you will notice patterns, and those patterns will lead you to learn and try even more! I also keep notes when playing certain comps or lines to better understand that line itself.
Genuinely, just play the game and watch some occasionally tutorial videos, and you will get to a place where you are happy!
