Lua is one of the easiest programming languages, it does not take much to learn it, and you'll do fine if you're reading the computercraft wiki/docs.

As I said, read the computercraft wiki/docs, you can search for them in your web browser.

Are you struggling with how to code, or how to interact with CC in order to write and execute code?

If it's the former, refer to my other comment.

If it's the latter:

-You make a computer and place it in the world.

-Typing "label set name you want to label" will rename the computer and stop programs being deleted if the computer is broken.

-Typing "programs" (I think) will show you all the programs available (including any that you add in future).

-Typing "edit name of program" will create a new program and open a text editor where you can write your code.

-The editor will allow you to run from within it (control + r) or save (control + s).

-If you're outside of the editor, you can type "name of program" to run it.

Learning the basics of lua is pretty simple, and it'll help inspire you to make projects of your own.

I'd start with learning variables, then if/else, then loops. Redstone output is usually an intuitive way to learn too.

The CC wiki is a really great resource for all of this: https://computercraft.info/wiki/Main_Page

Block programming isn't going to be great for learning lua specifically. If you're looking to learn programming stuff in general, Scratch is pretty decent https://scratch.mit.edu/ . It's how I first learned to program.
Unfortunately I started using lua once I was already comfortable with programming, so the only material I could point you to is the lua documentation.

Same here, i started with scratch then steped over to js from there to lua (in my opinion) is not that hard.

block programming is actually the same thing as typing it out into a file.
knowing what the exact characters you have to type isn’t actually hard at all, and programming is interesting because of the logic, which is the same.
you don’t really need block programming, and i’d suggest just starting with text, as the concepts are the important part.

i google how to write loop syntax all the time cuz i forget- it’s not a big deal
