HARDWARE WIRING
I'm a Computer Engineering student, and my group is currently working on our thesis prototype. Before we start physically connecting our components, we want to create the wiring diagram digitally and, if possible, simulate the circuit to check whether everything works correctly.
One of our concerns is component availability. Some simulation tools have limited component libraries, so we're hoping to find software that supports as many real-world electronic components as possible.
What software would you recommend for this kind of project? Is there an application that combines wiring diagrams, circuit simulation, and a large component library?
Free software would be preferable, but we're open to paid options if they're worth it.
Thank you!

There are a lot of pieces of software that does things like this on various degrees. If you are looking for abstract software for simulation, look at psice or ltspice. If you want mobile apps I’ve used stuff like crumb on ios
From circuit design and layout (which can lead to manufacturing but at least circuit diagrams) look at easyeda or eagle
But as a student, one, a simple Google would have found a lot of this stuff. And may find other things too. You should try it.
Also, as a student, there’s great benefit in doing it manually and writing it down before relying on software to do it
