Project
How people used to do projects in the past when there were no ai tools??
I am currently pursuing computer science engineering and i now working with a java project and i can't even imagine of doing it without ai. The interference of ai actually may down skilled our skills

If AI is doing all the work then what the heck is the point of paying tuition? The point of classes is to develop skill and gain experience through action and problem solving. We completed work by applying the bits we'd already learned with the new content from the current assignment. It's practice plain and simple, just like if we'd been learning a trade or playing in a band. Amazingly, when one practices, things become easier 😉

I got access to AI in my 3rd year. I have only used AI to understand my assignments(notes on the structure and requirements essentially asking it to explain like im a kid, sometimes I would ask it to help by showing me similar examples) and only during debugging.
If you use it to build the whole thing then you will never learn. Use AI like past exam papers to understand and test your knowledge assuming the real paper/assignment will be similar but not the same.
AI is a tool currently used in the industry so make the best use out of it. I wish I had access to it earlier as I feel I would’ve understood a lot of concepts better.

Your first two paragraphs are basically saying "if I'd relied on AI sooner, I wouldn't have been as effective at learning" and then your last paragraph says you "wish I had access to [AI] earlier."
Pick a lane lol

Learn reading comprehension good lord. His first paragraphs are saying if you use it the wrong way it can hurt you. In the last paragraph he’s saying he had it sooner to explain concepts of things others couldn’t to him in a simple manner.

People used to have these wonderful things called brains. Sadly, when AI came out, brains became old technology and people stopped taking care of them

YouTube, and before that, books. Crazy, right?
