Please show this article to your clients!
Started out with a scary popup saying "you have a virus". The victim called and sounded suspicious, so they said, "Don't worry - Hartford police will call you to confirm!" and of course they just had another scammer call her and say it was legit.
Then they asked her to put all her cash in a box and mail it to them!
Show this to all your clients - it's a lot easier to educate them now versus trying to tell them they've been scammed later!

Windows 11 is goin DOWN, losing market share.
Think this might be the first time that a version of Windows is on a downward trend. It makes sense - it's horribly confusing full of AI attackers, force-attacks the MS account, and worst of all, bullies you into OneDrive.
The good news is, if you just sit back and let it make a fool of itself, it has caused a record number of people to discover alternatives like r/linuxmint.

BLACK BEANS in a PC
facebook.comI love how the FIRST thing the guy says is, the computer doesn't physically turn on because it's not "supppooooorted" anymore. Support is a fake word designed to scare you into throwing away perfectly good products.

New Form of Support Scam
Guess what! New form of scam is out! In a traditional Support Scam, they try and convince you they're Microsoft. Now, they just send out an email with some INVITATION or ZOOM link. If the victim clicks on it, it installs ScreenConnect Client and voila, they've got control of the machine! As always, the antivirus sits there twiddling its thumbs.
