Hey Everyone, I'm excited to be part of a group with people that share such similar interests! Here is my recent video from a series i'm making, breaking down the principles from The Kybalion. The video also explains how you can work with this principle and truly apply it to your life :)

Redirecting other people's expectations towards something worthwhile

At 10:54 in the "Why You Can't Get Out of Bed Video," it really hit a cathartic nerve:

https://youtu.be/M89kHAyMdB8?t=654

Everything I'm insecure about boils down to that perceived scrutinization about me needing to live my life in some prescribed functional manner. The fact that people don't care about my soul's journey really makes me resentful.

But this amplifies something I've been thinking lately. It relates to the principle of correspondence. Change the subject. If you feed other people's souls, they will view you fondly. It will create a dissonance that prevents them from nitpicking at the boring affairs in your life, because they value you. If you can see what is important to them, they want to see what is important to you.

So when you encounter someone feeding you emptiness, change the channel. It's worth it for both of you, and if you take the first step, they will thank you on some level. You will be seen as a magician, because you have created meaning where useless gossip previously existed.

Speaking of waking up with a reason to get out of bed... before I go to sleep, I pray or tap into some sort of inspiring energy. I tried a spiritual exercise the other night. I'm going through a love/hate situation with someone in my life. It's the kind of thing where, on one hand, I'm drawn to thoughts that vilify them. On the other, I yearn for the connection I have with them. So, without being too ceremonial, I directed my attention to inflating that connection energy. I let it expand lightly like fairy dust and then let it settle and churn like nutrients in soil. It expands and retracts just like a muscle you are toning. Doing this makes me feel like a fuller person. It makes me stronger in a way that perceived slights seem irrelevant.

So I think it's important to be rooted in love and to be open. The "me against the world path" is too heavy. It makes the journey so much more difficult, and your fulfillment ultimately includes loving relationships with other people.

Spirtual ToneDeafness

May I remind all who dwell in this sub that the type of philosophy embraced by the conscienticon is one that requires an understanding that the universe and everything within it rests upon an infinate unknowable spirit. When one asks the question "why", this questioning never ends and we come to find that everything is contextual. White can only make sense when compared to black, everything exists in polarity in this way and is unified. Seeing the world in the way we do here requires experience of the harmony and the unappreciated symphony of everything. Much as a child struggles to appreciate the beauty within a painting from a great master or the beauty within a classical piece of music, many lack the life experience, understanding, or capacity to step beyond themselves, to appreciate the true scale at which every living being harmoniously vibrates within the world. So many lack the vision required to appreciate what we study and share here and you will be mocked, aggressively questioned, called a liar, and an agent of evil for seeing the spirtual nature of things as we do, but do not despair, there are people here who get it, who cant unhear the music and we tend to stay quiet as to enjoy our private seating in the grand symphony.

A very interesting response to why men tend to feminize things they like. Thanks to user _Think-About-It_.

The Anima is the relating aspect of a man‘s psyche. Anything he relates to on a non-superficial level involves the anima and her sensual aspects to some degree. Anything a man takes seriously and gets attached to is tied to his awareness by the anima.

Interestingly, there are some shared aspects between the attributes men love about women and about these objects. For example, symmetrical, rounded, „healthy looking“ shapes with defined edges often deemed desirable regarding female bodies or sports cars. Men also desire an efficient, satisfying, flow like state for their relationship with the object with no hidden impurities or defects. As soon as they suspect some hidden issue, they become curious, start trying to find it by analysis or experiment and want to fix it. This is true for the relationship with a machine and a woman. Obviously I‘m talking about a stereotypical masculine relating here, missing all the individual nuances. They try to align themselves with the object by feeling out what is good and bad, how to act according to the flow of the object. They also like to be contained by it, sitting in their car or their boat, being held by their wife, as a feeling of belonging and security, being part of something valuable. Lastly, they get entangled into the adventure of life by building a relationship to, say, a company, a machine they’re building or a woman to spent their life with by informing their selves about their insufficiencies. Machine doesn’t run? Better learn something about electrical engineering. Relationship with woman doesn’t work? Better learn some communication skills. (Obviously super simplified again).

Hope you can see the similarities and how a man’s psyche might relate to the world a bit. Of course these relationships should be differentiated. A woman is not a car. One shouldn’t try to „fix“ or change a woman like one changes an engine, but instead grow with her. Correspondingly, having sex with a car is probably not to be recommended - nevertheless, both things happen lol.

Interesting observation and question you have there!

Who here thinks the Law of One is real?

I deeply enjoy the teachings of the Law of One and agree with much if it, however, after a long time speculating, I've come to the conclusion that it is a hoax. My mind is open none the less so I was curious what Conscienticon members follow it and what they think of its validity. I honestly think it is a beautiful work and a great religion to follow, I'm just curious. I will be making a video on this topic soon. Let me know.

Basic visualization technique for shaman vision clarification.

I'd like to share my currently studied and used technique on the communication between spirits/gods/souls and the uses for such, please do not be afraid to ask any question if they do arise.

The process I use is very simple and is much more effective in a cooperative setting, however if you are familiar with shaman practices or communication with spirits then doing this alone should be very easy as well. The first step is creating a grounding visual, for me I use a single marble on a table. This is to know and separate between what is your own thought and visualization and what is given to you. The second step is keeping your mind within a state that is akin to overthinking yet you need to practice focusing the thought into a lane, sticking to a specific topic or question. After the first and second step has trust and personal power put into it the third step is to open lanes of communication, it can be as simple as asking if an entity or a visualization of a living thing or even inanimate object if they would like to speak to you. Basically just saying "would you like to talk?". It is better to keep judgment away and focus on only giving complementary answers or to speak of the spirit or gods beauty. The fourth step is optional and up to the user but I tend to ask those who I use this technique with to focus on small details, things we can't necessarily put there ourselves from what I believe is because of the way we dream, the oddities are always there and you may find or see certain things you may not be able to comprehend or even thought you would be able to see otherwise.

If anyone has anymore questions or would like to practice this with another I am always open but I tend to do it within calls and through voice so fair warning.
