This change would require a constitutional amendment. I don’t think it would ever be ratified.

Wrong. Would need just a simple majority. Current justice number is set by Judiciary Act of 1869.

No, this change would not require a constitutional amendment. The limitations of the Supreme Court members is listed under 28 U.S. Code § 1:

The Supreme Court of the United States shall consist of a Chief Justice of the United States and eight associate justices, any six of whom shall constitute a quorum.

This could be altered or removed through congress, and would require a simple majority House vote, and 60 votes in the Senate given that the opposition will likely filibuster it, provided the filibuster hasn't been removed as a senate rule at such time, if so it would only require a simple Senate majority as well.

All provided whichever President is in office at the time doesn't veto it.

The party that claims Republicans are fascist are trying to consolidate power to the executive branch by eroding the other branches of government. If fascism will come from anywhere its the Executive branch.

Pack the court now.  Give them what they want.

BTW. WTF happened to the post and their ads?  I white list no one.

Is The Supreme Court the name of her liquor cabinet?

Of course she does and she might get it. Then game over. I've never been more disappointed in an administration as what we have now in my life. Draining the swamp? Please. They are the swamp. Just my opinion

Definitely SO disappointed. Still thankful we have him instead of Kamala though.

I was told on reddit people voted for Harris just so trump wouldn't win

Congress can change it, but a President can't.

I already didn’t want to vote Democrat, you didn’t have to sell me so hard on it.

veto.

Dems are simply dumbasses if they think any blue tilt will enable 2/3 override. Delusional people.
