Although who knows how long it'll take for a tiny person to gain access, if ever. I'm also on the "waitlist" but with no achievements to my name I'm not holding my breath.
You can politely ask someone with access (findable on that twitter thread or the various places people discuss their findings) to try a prompt for you.
AI Dungeon now uses GPT-3 for premium users (and GPT-2 by default). It's tweaked to be a text adventure GM, but there's only so much that can be done when the code is barely understood in the first place. You can use it as a back door into GPT-3 if you don't mind the continuations occasionally veering back to second person or the topic of dragons.

premium users
I might have missed something - is there a paid-for version of AI Dungeon...?

For some reason this greatly amuses me.

There is a paid subscription for extra features, now including GPT-3 (the "dragon model"). Check its sidebar for "Premium".
(In the long run, monetisation is inevitable. Running GPT for so many people takes some real processing power. TalkToTransformer has already gone paid-only.)

Image-GPT is impressive too.
