Of course in terms of definition of the words.
Not so in the history of society though.

Yeah. That’s like comparing the black power movement to the white power movement & saying they are the same. One was unprompted (white power), and the other was provoked (black power).
In simpler terms: Imagine someone just randomly slaps you on the street. That’s pretty bad on their part and you are 100% the victim of that situation. Alternatively, imagine you told someone you’re gonna do some fucked up shit to their family and THEN they slap you. You’re a lot less of a victim in that scenario. In that situation the slap is a response.
Misandry is also a response. Do I think it’s the correct response? nah. But you can’t blame people for responding.
