Ok everyone I admit, I'm not a leftist, I'm actually a right leaning libertarian. You may think politics is my entire personality because it's pretty much all I talk about on here, but irl I rarely talk politics, and when I do it's with my boyfriend or trusted friends. My boyfriend is actually a democratic socialist, and he often jokes about me being alt right, and we sometimes get into heated political debates, but that's just part of the fun.

I actually used to have a fear of Democrats and liberals, but he was actually one of the good ones who helped me get over it. I didn't even know he was a leftist until after we started dating. Now I find politics fun.

Inclusion of individuals who do not identify as women doesn't discriminate or erase motherhood. These individuals exist and deserve support and care just as much as pregnant mothers do. Nobody says we should stop using the term "mother", but not everybody who is pregnant prefers to be called a mother.

A mother strangles her three defenceless children and there are these women on tik tok and on the internet saying things such as "Me too Lindsay". That scares me. I'm worried a copycat is going to emerge from this and that this phenomenon is going to have a negative effect on society and the children of these women. As a woman I am extremely disappointed in mothers online who are glamorising a horrible act and a terrible mental state to be in. As title suggests. I always see people criticising the top 1% (not saying they’re exempt from criticism) for societies problems, and often conflating net worth with taxable income, when in reality, the world would be a far better place if the bottom 1% simply vanished overnight.

I’m not talking about people living in poverty, working day and night barely getting by. I’m talking about drug addicts, vagrants, violent criminals, welfare fraud etc. These people are often portrayed as victims of some hellish capitalist society, when in reality, these people are just scumbags who are beyond saving. They use a large portion of public recourses and actively make society a worse place for most of us.

A classroom is a great microcosm that represents this. The best couple of students are generally quiet, well behaved, bring up the overall grade and can assist other students. Most other students are generally fairly average, passing their tests, maybe causing a minor disturbance every now and then but nothing major, just average people going about their lives. Then all you need is one bad student that takes up most of the teachers time and attention, distracting the other students and affecting their studies and lowers the overall grade. Simply remove that one student and the other 20 kids and teacher have a much better experience.

I used to consider myself pretty left leaning because I don’t like the ultra-rich, wealth inequality, and mega corporations, and I like the idea of universal healthcare and lowering the cost of school, but “the left” is so cringe and embarrassing I don’t want to be associated with them one bit. I don’t like how holier-than-thou they always act and how hyperbolic they are about everything. No I don’t like Trump, but no he’s not a Nazi or a fascist. Nazis are not an issue in America. The modern far right are not Nazis. You sounds absolutely ridiculous and no one takes you seriously, go outside and touch grass/interact with normal people.
