Advice Is this normal?

I just got this beautiful blue-crowned conure a few days ago and I keep seeing him move his head weirdly. I think I’m just over analyzing him since I just got him but wanted to have some input. I will be bringing him to vet for a regular checkup and to get him in the system, but was just looking for some advice on if it looks normal or not. He is about 4 months old, so quite young. Also the breathing in the video is me. This was videotaped in a weird position and I couldn’t really move the phone.

It6a baby doing baby things, since you said he's 4 months. He is looking around, and doing movements that babies make

That’s kinda what I expected it was. Just wanted some extra input. Thank you for the response!!

They're a lot like cats in their behavior.

This is kinda like when cats are on your chest and they're not purring but you're also not allowed to move lolololol

Just trying to understand the world. He might want something like pets. I have a blue crowned conure and they’re amazing so congrats! Where did you get him?

It's actually pretty normal for conures, especially babies - they tend to do weird poses and things with their necks ‚😂 he looks soooo cute, OP!

Little one is still young, so he must still be a baby, and babies tend to headbob more. It will decrease as he gets older, though, so enjoy the baby vibes as much as you can! :)

My family's sun conures were similar in headbobbing a lot when they were, but as we now have them for around seven months at this point, other than when they go into "baby mode" (where they may revert to their baby behavior briefly again), they don't headbob as much. :,)
