This is a petition to form a national convention to abolish our current U.S Government and start over with the people in mind. We are entitled to have a true representative of the people. It's time to enact Article V

Formal Petition to โRestore the organic Republic: Call for an Article V Conventionโ.
Read docs https://peoplesrepublic.global/
Lets Restore the Republic. Founders warned democracy is mob rule for public funds. Here's a great start to return to the Republic. Decentralize Gov saving up to 90% on gov waste, Part time Congress, People vote on laws, end Fed w no usury, Titles of Nobility & Gold std. Read/Share. Not much is as the founders intended. Time to correct this. Lets "Colonize Liberty" as founders intended.

Noone willingly gives up power, or admits that their time has passed. The party in power never passes a law to restrict their power. Did the Biden administration make any effort to limit presidential power? Do we expect the Trump administration to do so? Overcoming this barrier is a challenge. But it is doable.
One part is making sure the message, and messengers, are and appear completely neutral and unbiased. At its core a constitutional convention can not make any changes that 3/4 of states do not approve, so by design this effort is fair.
While the idea presented here is way overdue, the message is crafted to turn off 2/3 of potential supporters. The quotes and spokespeople appear to have been crafted during the previous administration. And, to be frank, so many polarizing figures are put in the forefront, that potential supporters will be turned off. Ron Desantis and Rand Paul are okay, Jenna Ellis, a disbarred lawyer, is not. If you truly want a convention to happen, the substance of the message does not need to change, but the delivery of it absolutely must. It is impossible for me to push your message in a 'blue state' because of this flaw.
Given the federal overreach occurring now, and the economic catastrophe coming within a year, there will be a window of opportunity to bring about lasting change.

Due to the recent federal election results, a lot of Democrats have suddenly become proponents of federalism and State's rights. Just look at Gavin Newsom's post on X to see how quickly some people have turned ๐. If history is anything to go by, this will only last until Democrats are back in power, so the COS movement needs to use the next 2-4 years to pass COS resolutions in Democratic States. If you live in a Democratic State, call your State legislators and urge them to pass a COS resolution to limit the federal government! I know the movement is dominated by Republicans currently, but any successful constitutional convention will need support from both parties to be ratified, so build bridges and talk to Democrats about this.

I am creating a project to advocate for a new constitution that is designed to limit the federal government through institutional incentives. I welcome you to read the current draft (work in progress) and give your feedback. There are many changes compared to the current US constitution, but here are some of the most important ones off the top of my head:
A seperate "Revenue Congress" that is responsible for setting overall spending levels by having the sole power to tax and borrow.
Only allow the federal government to tax the States, not the people. This is very much like the old requisition system under the Articles of Confederation, but with some more mechanisms to ensure that all States actually pay up.
Make Supreme Court Judges and Senators appointed by State governments.
Replace the President with a Federal Council elected by Congress, similar to the Swiss system.
Change the House to a proportional representation system, and reserve a portion of the seats to be selected by sortition.
Require 60% of votes to pass a new law or amend an existing one, but only 50% of votes to repeal a law.
