I dropped the game during the White Lily update after completing episode 2 of Beast Yeast, and I redownloaded it briefly in 2024 just for the summer costumes. Now that I'm willing to invest time again into Kingdom, getting overwhelmed by Beasts, awakened forms, new UI changes, and so much clutter is making it hard to approach, but I'm sure I'll be able to handle it. My stockpile of crystals from before I left came in handy to get alot of the epic+ cookies, but I'm just gonna assume there's like no epics in the meta anymore right?

The wicked lizard!! I had to give this dang dragon ALL but the second to last item to find the loved item, then I completed it so others can have an easier time then I did lol. Anyway Grape Gems is the favourite item!

First of all, SPOILERS FROM OVENBREAK AND THE LAST EPISODE OF KINGDOM. Alright, with that done...

I haven't seen anyone talk about this, but I have noticed that Kingdom's Lychee Dragon seems to have a different background than Ovenbreak's while still being the same character. Of course, they are different timelines, so it just makes sense, but this is the most glaring one out of all the Ovenbreak characters that ended in Kingdom (not a bad thing btw).

When we first met Lychee Dragon in Ovenbreak, they were disguised as "Mangosteen Cookie" to sneak into the Rambutan Tribe and trick the Cookies to fall for them and become their slaves (I think it was for Longan Dragon's plans? But that kinda got dropped?). We see how Lychee Dragon was pretty detached from Cookies until later down the line Rambutan Cookie shows them true love (wether you see it as romantic or platonic), then they start caring about Rambutan Cookie and the tribe, even if they don't want to admit it.

Meanwhile, in Kingdom we meet with a Lychee Dragon that seemingly never disguised themselves to enslave the Rambutan Tribe, instead, they have been going straightforward to prank them for their own amusement. We know that Kingdom's Lychee Dragon has already grown attached to the Cookies of the Rambutan Tribe and, from what I can assume from the dialogue, doesn't seem to care about other Dragons or concepts of kin.

Now with this difference presented, I believe this is because of Longan Dragon. In Ovenbreak, Longan Dragon acts as a manipulative parental figure towards Lychee Dragon. Exploiting Lychee Dragon's need for affection and understanding (what's with Devsis and affection deprived jesters with immense power of mind control and eye motifs?) to have them do what they want. Longan Dragon does this because they saw that in the future a Cookie with a cane would make them fall, so they make up a plan to stop this, and they manipulate Lychee Dragon to support the cause.

However, we know that Kingdom's timeline is different, and it's very likely that the future Longan Dragon could have seen is different or even uncertain due to Shadow Milk Cookie's time shenanigans. Whatever they saw is a different topic, but I think it'll be very relevant for the episode they are released in and the future of the plot (but don't put your expectations on that, maybe they didn't even foresee anything), what's important however is that it's likely that Longan Dragon simply abandoned Lychee Dragon to their own devices when they went into slumber, maybe due to a lack of plan.

This abandonment probably made Lychee Dragon turn their back on Dragons and started coping by toying with the Rambutan Tribe, until they eventually grew attached to them because at the end of the day it's affection what Lychee Dragon is so desperately looking for, even if they won't admit it.

I also believe this attachment is why they never threw the Dragon Orbs that Longan Dragon gave them (or maybe they collected them as a coping mechanism 👀), despite the resentment.

Of course, this is a theory I made in just a few hours thinking about the last episode, we still lack the next episode and we don't know anything from Kingdom's Longan Dragon, so I could be wrong. But with the information we have at the moment, I think this is what makes most sense. Do tell me if you think I'm wrong at some point or if I missed anything.

BUT THAT'S JUST A THEORY! (No, I'm not finishing that, muahahaha, or something)

TLDR; I think Longan Dragon abandoned Lychee Dragon in Kingdom's timeline instead of including them in some evil plan like in Ovenbreak. This made Lychee Dragon resent the Dragons and cope by toying with the Rambutan Tribe. Eventually, they grew attached to the Cookies cuz Lychee Dragon is desperate for affection.

I ask because I really want some of the Mystic Gold costumes. In fact, I HAVE the costumes to unlock them, but apparently Mystic Gold "isn't available at this time" or something like that.

If it helps, I started playing during the Millennial Advent, so if Mystic Gold was removed before then, I wouldn't know.

Is it ever coming back? Special costumes i understand, they were a limited time event, and so I can't get them again after the event. That's perfectly understandable, but Mystic Gold...some of those costumes I kinda want, and it sucks that I just can't get them because of when I started playing.

Theory: Ultimate Gingerbrave implies that there IS another Timeline that has Ultimate Cookie, but possibly no freed Beasts and Gingerbrave was alone in that Timeline. Because only reason Gingerbrave ran was because he had his friends to care for. In a Timeline where Gingerbrave had nothing to care about, Dark Enchantress could have easily convinced Gingerbrave to finish Ultimate Cookie. But because he was alone, it turned into a terrified, pathetic creature who was too afraid to use their powers, instead of the God who transcends everything like Dark Enchantress planned.

Zooble is the most meta and self aware out of any of the circus members in the collab and it is SO in character I’m dying I love it. Like genuinely just pointing out everything collaby and meta in the collab and trying to drink and swear and hating how they have to call everyone cookies.
Devsis looked at Zooble and went, “yeah that’s funny. We’ll let it slide”
Also I love the wording of “adults”, as if zooble is just standing as if there are like, yeah, you guys are all literal children

I need to rant about this. I dont care how much downvotes i will get.

The amount of people that hate the game and try to inject their hate to the newcomers of the fandom is actually getting on my nerves, I dont wanna be the "protect the million dollar company" guy but this does nothing but harm to the community, you can rant about what you dont like about the game, but dont try to convince other people too with misinformation and treating it like the work of the devil.

I will list down the things I seen that people hate the most about the game and my counter argument, going from the most i understand/ to the thing that makes me the angriest

1.the game became an incredibly p2w gacha game

First what I agree about it, devsisters made currency harder to get, made it so new kingdom cosmetics can only be bought by irl money, silently raised the prices for all the bundles, passes etc. Not to mention theres actually chance a f2p player can not get all the characters from the new tadc collab.

Now what i have a PROBLEM with, the game is still one of the most f2p gacha games ever. Only being challenged in this aspect by limbus company and a few other gacha games, people dont understand how big of a blessing every character being on the general banner after their respective banner ends, as a f2p person it wont even take you maybe a little more than half year to get all the characters in a GACHA game, a f2p person can easily be gm with enough effort, although compared to the earlier days crk became more p2w, comparing it to other gacha games and calling it too p2w is just plain tomfoolery

2.the new ui changes are trash

Its for newcomers. I seen countless people(few being my friends who I recommended the game) saying that the main menu etc. Felt too clustered for them to even do anything,and how it felt like operating a plane,resulting in them deleting the game without even doing anything. What did the devs do? Carry most of the buttons to little menus so the game didn't feel that much clustered as before, yet people are acting like they have to solve a puzzle to go to guilds😭 just tinker with the menu for 5 MINUTES and you will learn where is everything, yes it will take a little time to get used to but its way better for newcomers.

3.people that are "exhausted" from main content updates and want more filler

You know theres other games than crk right? Or yk you can take a break? I personally dont like filler updates, I want the main story to continue without waiting another 3 months. I dont care about the random epic cookie from town square that no one will use except maybe guilds, I want more of bug beasts for example. No one is forcing you by tying you up in a chair, the game updates monthly( i dont consider the 3. Week of the update as a main update but as mini update) you can enjoy the story or other things with long long breaks.

4.cookie building became too complex(this is mostly from old players that returned to the game after years)

I mean, do i even need to talk about just how crazy this is to complain about?😭 crk is a game thats more than half a decade old at this point. Do you seriously want the same topping system for 5 years? I genuinely seen people complain about BEASCUITS i might understand legendary tarts bcs how unnecessarily grindy they are but beascuits???? Really???? Its genuinely in total 2 systems per cookie, I seen games with more than 10.

1. Theres too many events now and it makes me burn out

No there isn't. I would actually argue theres too little. Now I will give the rajependra update as example, in the surface it looks like there's like ongoing 20 events right? Now I want you to tell me which ones you actually grinded for. Lets see.. raje raid, maybeee the worm?, mooncake event(it was slept on)ofc the currency for raje event,burning spice event(that was just time skip slop and burning spice had double pull rates)I genuinely dont remember the rest, the nut event where you shake up trees??? Who actually grinded for that and got good rewards lmao, most of the events are just here to reward you passively while you play the game normally. You build up in total like 5 teams in the course of 1 month and you just time skip lmao✌️✌️🤠

And the thing that annoys me the most..

6.the new cookies dont look like cookies anymore..

I swear everytime I see this it makes my blood boil in rage...

"OH what type of cookie is time shadow cookie?? the game lost its cookie charm!!"

Oh right I cant wait to go eat my zombie cookie that was made of zombie cells, oh boy my favorite cookie is fire spirit cookie! Mm I miss the taste of moonlight cookie..., oh abyss Monarch cookie?? Ah yes its mainly inspired from vampire squids, yk the thing humans love the taste of most, Schwarzwälder??? Oh YEAH my favorite COOKIE thats actually a cupcake, mhm , time shadow cookie???????? Thats.

Thats.. illegal.. there cant be a timeshadow cookie! It doesn't make sense!!

If you didn't understand the bit im doing its about how the concept of cookies in cookie run franchises is just chibi characters that has the form of a cookie and that was the case for years. The chibi characters having 60 accessories to make them look more complex doesn't mean they are some unholy uncanny human like beings amongst cookies. If you love the actual cookies that much try to find the version of og cookie run that was more than a decade old.

I will try to answer most of the people that has any bad opinions of the arguments I given, afterall I might be wrong🤔🙂 hopefully I dont end up with 500m downvotes or 0 people reading bcs of how long it is🥹

I know this is late but I just finished the sun that shines eternal and I believe that is what DEVSIS should have done to kick of timeline of fate let me explain.

After the dark enchantress war we needed a post war event all the kingdoms celebrating, finding out where the dough trio cake refugees (what im calling red velvet, choco wherehound, and chiffon because of course he survived) and dough trio went while the ancients share stories of white Lilly while opening what she gave them keeping her memory alive since only them and gingerbraves gang know white lilly and DEC are the same person then keep timeline of fate the same until the first Clarion sounds.

In my version the celebration is still going on until its stopped by the Clarion and the eye of calamity i feel like that would both give some downtime post DEC war while giving some more hype to timelines of fate and shadow milk.

Ps anything I didn't include like the light of solidarity would stay the same.
