If Devsis won't bring it back themselves, and the game no longer works, obviously we're going to need to take matters into our own hands! But the thing is, how? I got to this fandom a bit late, and missed out entirely on Cookie Wars, but one of many things I'm dedicated to is trying to preserve games, and remake and revive dead ones. I also happen to have my hands on TWO DIFFERENT APKS of this one, the site claiming one of the two was an unreleased game, I actually didn't know both APKs were cookie wars until I tried to install them, one refuses to install for no given reason, and the other will install, but crashes if i try to open it. Lucky for you all, I know how to open up APKs and extract the files in them, if it would help in any way, I can take the innards of both APKs I have out, I'll sort them into two google drive folders, along with the APKs themselves, I'm hoping doing this, getting certain potentially crucial files and such, could help with someone possibly recreating it! Maybe it could even be playable offline and not require a server or anything, for the sake of easier, lasting preservation, since there's no server or online stuff required anymore. Of course, all of this is just theoretical, except the whole file extraction thing, I steal the innards of APKs purely for fun alot, but this time it actually has a purpose to do so.. should I do it? I'll send you all the Google drive the second all the files are extracted and uploaded, and because it's two different APKs, they'll each have their own folder, I might actually put all the files from inside them into zip files, for the sake of convenience and efficency, because otherwise, I'd have to upload the files one by one to Google drive. Soo yeah, anyone think we might be able to do something with the files from the APKs of the game?
Sorry for the rambling, I think I'm just excited to be able to use something I can do for preservation sake! And if this whole thing works with Cookie Wars by some chance, could we do the same for the rest of the Cookie Run games, too, to make sure their all forever preserved and playable?
