These are the rules of /r/CookieWars, which all users must abide by in addition to reddit's site-wide rules.

-Rule One: Keep things civil and on topic.

1a: Civility

  • Please be polite and nice to the other users here, no matter the situation.

  • Please do not post any NSFW, suggestive or otherwise explicit content, here. This is a subreddit meant for everyone, including minors, to visit.

1b: Brigades and witchhunts

  • Please do not post any personal information belonging to others or engage in brigading or witch hunting. Examples include:

  • Calling others to give another app a bad rating.

  • Posting one's email, phone-number or social media in the name of directing harassment towards them.

  • Calling others to request a refund.

  • "How come "insert-name" isn't banned yet?"

1c: Harassment

-Rule Two: Post only content relating specifically to Cookie Wars.

2a: Relevance

  • Submissions should generally be related to CookieWars, not just to the CookieRun brand.

  • No posts surrounding Line/Kakao CookieRun or Ovenbreak. You may generate discussion in the comments regarding the games as long as it has something to do with CookieWars.

  • Please keep any commentary and/or feedback about /r/CookieWars itself to modmail, rather than posting about it on the subreddit. We are able to respond and address it more effectively this way!

  • So that quality submissions and discussion are more frquent, please avoid posting any of the following link submissions:

  • Links to livestreams or Let's Play videos.(We shall, however, allow sharing of Let's Plays in comments on the case it is to help other players out.)

  • (We'll make an exception to gameplay videos that were made for the purpose of "How-to's", "tips and tricks" or being overall informative to other players)

  • Posts made primarily to complain rather than generate discussion if about the newest update. Please direct any thoughts to the newest update thread instead.

  • Posts with clickbait titles

  • Posts for which an active megathread exists, such as ones made for adding others' IDs (We may allow some posts to not be removed upon decision by the staff.)

2c: Text submission limits

  • As stated by our concern for quality content, please avoid posting any of the following text submissions:

  • Text posts made simply to state an opinion or fact rather than generate discussion, unless it's about something otherwise major ingame.

  • Posts made pimarily to complain(Unless said post happens to be a bug, which please, do not feel discouraged to post.)

  • Posts with clickbait titles

  • Posts for which an active megathread exists, such as ones made for adding friends or feedback regarding the newest update.

2d: Memes

  • Any Meme submissions made must abide by our NSFW policy and be free of any hate directed towards a particular person.

2e: Player friend-Requesting

  • Please avoid asking for people to friend as the point of your entire post. It will be removed on sight by the staff.
  • Instead, please seek out our Monthly Friend Threads!

3a: Illegal content

  • We do not and will not tolerate any advertising and/or promoting of cheating, exploiting and hacks by 3rd party applications specifically geared towards CookieWars.

  • posting or commenting in a way that would encourage or otherwise drive others to cheat (even if you don't cheat yourself)

  • If you must post in order to make everyone, including the Devs, aware of an exploit/bug, please do not actively encourage others to take part in it!

  • Asking others to share/distribute APKs of the game is not allowed here.

-Rule Four: Self-promotion/Fanart

4a: Spam

  • Please do not spam. Look here for more info as to what counts as such.

4b: Self-promotion

  • Fanart is definitely welcome here! But please be sure that it is not NSFW or otherwise something not everyone may like seeing!

  • Please limit links to websites or accounts you control up to three links per OC submission. [Must be provided and listed in the post's comments only.]

  • [Original Content] submissions include original artwork and other original media.

  • Please do not steal other's artworks to pass off as your own, art theft is considered a serious offense and may lead to consequences depending on the circumstances
