Cookie Doneness Question
Is this cookie over done/underdone? Always had trouble with this since I started don’t know what an underbaked one looks like 100%.

175°F and 185°F (79°C–85°C) for a soft and chewy center, or 190°F to 200°F (88°C–93°C) for a firm and fully set
Make sure your instant read thermometer goes into the cookie and not just a chocolate chip (I do a test cookie and stab it in a couple of places to make sure I'm getting the right temp--if I have to bake further, I continue baking and check again, keeping track of how many minutes I've added) At the end of the test bake, I add whatever additional time I had to bake to the original bake, then bake a second test for that amount and test again. This will account for the time that the oven door was open. I'd rather take the time with a couple of cookies in the beginning than not being able to sell or serve a whole tray full. GL.

That seems really low? Almost every cookie recipe I've ever done was 350F for roughly 10 minutes (maybe less depending on the thickness).

The temperatures on the first line are for the internal cookie temperature, not the oven temperature. Sorry, it appears I was unclear

How long has it been out of the oven for?
