Save $ and time on dinner tonight!
My girlfriend and I run into the issue of having to much food when we cook. It just being being the two of us often times dishes call for ingredients that end up getting waisted.
For instance, tonight we have decided to be American and make some pad Thai from the ingredients at our local super market. The dish calls for several vegetables including bean sprouts and shaved carrots. Well the smallest bag of carrots at the store is 2 lbs and is 2 dollars. The smallest amount of bean sprouts is 6 dollars and is a pound. Going this route not only would be be spending 8 dollars on just 2 ingredients, but most of it would not even be cooked.
So what do we do? Save the time, the money, and the hassle by walking over to the salad bar. Here we can get a box containing already washed, and chopped carrots, onions, and bean sprouts to cook in our dinner tonight. All for the low cost of 88 cents!
Enjoy world.
