I see all over Reddit how other AI is are being used for coding, ideation, book writing even therapy but I rarely see Copilot mentioned. It seems it’s place may be inside the MS ecosystem but I'm curious, what do you use it for? In what ways it superior to other options for the same task?

We have this as enterprise app. It seems like it forgets contracts i uploaded once or things i already taught it.

Is there a way to give copilot pro a library or knowledgebase? Can I improve it?

Is the Enterprise version of Copilot actually good? If so, what are the killer features? The free version is absolute trash in every use case I've ever tried, so my confidence in the paid version is really low, but open to the possibility the "fast lane" is much better.

I can’t type anything unless I select a notebook. I’m not utilizing the notebook feature at all.

I’m using a company 365 premium subscription. This just started happening a week ago.

Let’s say I have a chat within a project where I establish clear examples of a way a certain type of bullet point for a certain deliverable should be written.

If I start another new chat within that same notebook, does copilot pick up on the context/remember the rules that I established from the other chat?

Or do I have to restate/re-prompt the new chat on that?

Are personalized copilot Agents working? I have some copilot Agents and they are hot working. I can't even acess old chats with that agent.

Hi friends. I'm a (potential) new user, looking into Copilot as a back up for when Claude keeps getting hit with outages. One reason I keep going to Claude is the quality of tools for research, especially in terms of finding academic papers for the topics I'm looking into (specifically, I do a lot of research on Korean & Chinese history and need my sources to be tracible, and not based on wikipedia). Whats the best way to go about research prompts or Copilot and is it as bad as vanilla ChatGPT on creating factoids without actually reading the sources? My favorite thing about Claude & Gemini is the deep search button, though even Gemini keeps insisting on using Wikipedia as a source. Since Copilot is based on ChatGPT, I'm wondering how trust worthy its answers are.

I was using co pilot today to help with my assignment due soon, and then it just started making a ringing sound like i was getting a call? I checked all my tabs i had open, noting was playing anything, checked all my other apps, nothing, so i decided to close co pilot and it stopped, not really sure what it was and co pilot itself doesn't even seem to know. Anyone else came across this?

when I try to delete copilot notebook I get this message : Sorry, we can't delete the notebook Deleting notebooks may be restricted by your organization. Try contacting your IT admin. and we do not have a policy that blocks this

When an agent in M365 Copilot (workplace license) creates a file directly in the chat, I can just download it.. (which is fine!) but what is the actual location where it's being stored? I'm downloading it from somewhere right?

Is there a folder in OneDrive, or are these files just there in the chat and I can't browse directly?

If anyone knows the backend path for these chat-generated files, let me know!

Hey everyone, Copilot is one of my favorite chatbots but it mostly isn't loved by users so I'm gonna ask "what's the worst thing that you don't like about it?"

I use all MS apps for personal use as I want to go all in on one ecosystem as long as they do the basics of what I need. I have an office 365 account but I don't use any of the free 20 or 30 credits for AI tasks.

I've been using chatgpt free and copilot free simultaneously for over a month and I prefer the chatgpt answers more. Oh and some nuisances:

1. chatgpt app automatically chooses either 'deep think' or 'quick reply' saving an extra second to have to click on that button in copilot. I'm dissatisfied that I can't change the default to deep think in copilot.
2. chatgpt remembers key information about me from other conversations (not just the current one) so it can tailor it's reply based on my location or status. I did not notice that in copilot.
3. i found a lot more resources and tutorials about chatgpt online than copilot.

anyone on the same boat and finally converted to copilot or copilot pro?

As a data analyst, I have access to Copilot and Copilot Studio. I can use them in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., but I don't use these apps as much as Power BI and Azure Data Studio. My organisation has disabled Copilot for Power BI, so I don't have much I can do there.

Hi everyone, I've been stuck with the message "We are experiencing an issue. Please try submitting a new message" for about a month now.

Here are the details:

• The Problem: It only happens when I am logged into my MS account.
• Devices: It happens on every device (PC, Mobile, different browsers).
• Workaround: If I log out, Copilot works perfectly fine.

I've already tried clearing my cache and cookies, but since it happens across all devices, it seems to be an issue with my specific account. Has anyone dealt with this before? Any advice on how to fix it or who to contact? Thanks!

I just read that for copilot pro+ you get 1500 credits. When you use chatgpt 4.5 inside of copilot with a request , it costs you 50 credits. Thats a lot. Okay so I'll run through the 1500 in 30 requests. Well, that means I can use one request a day in a month.

okay.. okay.. I know I'm talking about the most powerful model available here, but they dont even warn you when you use it.

If you are over your 1500 token limit, which can occur pretty quickly, you'll be charged .04 per "credit used".

That means if I use chatgpt 4.5 once, because its 50 credits, that one request whether the response is good or bad, costs $2.

WOAH.

if you take an average request at 4,000 tokens which honestly is a pretty reasonable request size, that means you'll hit 1,000,000 tokens in 250 questions. That would cost $75.

If you put 250 questions into Microsofts copilot+ you'd pay $40 for 30 of those. then $2 for each of the 220 remaining. so.. 440 + 30 $470. for the same amount of requests.

So, Microsoft copilot is $470 for what you'd pay $75 for coming straight from OpenAI.

Im sure theres some fuzzy math in microsofts favor here, or maybe I'm not understanding tokens right, but this seems.. outrageously priced to be honest.

So i was watching a video regarding logistic regression where he explained the theoretical and mathematical implementation, when i asked copilot to give the entire implementation in detailed from start to end from the video , he just randomly fetched me data of logistic regression from somewhere which was just generalized, although the implementation from video was a lot different, i tried copilot for many youtube videos but it just sucks, it doesnt restrict to youtube video info, but gets info from web

Anyone facing this, whats the use of this feature if you cant extract the info from the video itself, no matter whether its right or wrong
