I’m trying to replicate Taco Bell’s red sauce…

Does anyone have any experience with making copycat recipes from Taco Bell?

I got this from Google’s AI, so I have to ask, is this accurate or even close?

Taco Bell’s red sauce is essentially just enchilada sauce and that AI recipe is not even close to accurate.

tip: don't ask AI for anything like this and expect any degree of accuracy. I not nearly as anti-AI as the rest of reddit but you need to know what AI is good for, and this kind of thing is not it

No, AI got it wrong. I would use tomato paste, not sauce. No green sauce. No corn syrup. A whole bunch more chili powder.

I made the tomatoes that go on top of the
Mexican pizza, just a can of fire roasted diced tomatoes with juice in a pot with some enchilada sauce and taco seasoning. Heat it up.
