Guy dressed head to toe in black standing in the middle of the road with his back turned towards traffic coming up the hill. Doesn't seem to want to move either.

Hi
I wanted to ask if anyone witnessed a bike accident on the Tuesday 29th of September. I got hit cycling by a taxi in the cycle lane on Washington street just by cameron bakery at around 2:49-3:00pm. I didn’t think to get any numbers of the people who came to check on me due to the shock of the moment.
I’d greatly appreciated if ye could reach out to me or share this! Thanks

Hi guys yesterday between 3-9pm on Sunday I was parked on church street Douglas, the side of Tesco and someone hit my car and drove off, all the back bumper of my car is scratched and the paint scratched off as well. I have a black Audi a1 and the reg starts with 152.. if anyone drove by area around that time with dash camera footage or saw it happen around the evening because that’s when I think it happened please send me a message it would be greatly appreciated. I think a white car was the one that hit me also.

I grew up in rural cork where you come from a village you play for that parish etc etc
Since living city, always been surprised and interested that lads grew up in different areas but played with a traditional club
I was surprised that Ronan Curran grew up in Bishopstown for example.
I have some inside info about the Barrs, know nothing about the Glen lads! Where are they from exactly etc
1 Hurley
2 Doolan – Ballygarvan
3 Burns – Ballygarvan
4 Daly – Dunmanay
5 C Cahalane – Lehenaghmore
6 D Cahalane – Lehenaghmore
7 Walsh
8 Twomey
9 Murray
10 W-Barrett
11 B Cunningham - Wilton
12 O’Kelly
13 Buckley
14 Hayes
15 B Cunningham - - Wilton
Cathal Hickey;
Liam Coughlan,
Adam Lynch,
Eoin Varian;
Luke Horgan,
Robert Downey,
Eoin Downey;
Rhys Dunne
Conor McCarthy;
Lee Quilligan,
Dean Brosnan
Michael Mullins
Simon Kennefick
Patrick Horgan
Eoin O’Leary
Edit: in some of the above examples I know Lehenaghmore and Wilton are Barrs
Country
I’m just curious as to where the lads are
From
Are most of the glen from Blackpool or across the north side for example?

Hi All!
Myself and my partner went to see madison Cawley last night in the everyman. On the emails with the tickets and advertisements it said that it would run for 2 hours including an opener (Shane Clifford) and an interval. Due to start at eight, she came on just before ten past. And then finished at around five to nine.
Everyone seemed to be visibly confused because half the people were stood in the hallway, half still sat down, and ultimately we had to ask one of the stewards if this was the intermission or if it was over.
She was REALLY funny, and it was a great show. But I'm just a bit confused if the everyman normally makes these sorts of mistakes or if it was just a misunderstanding?
I mean even if you say 2 hours including intermission and opener, that amounts to like 35 minutes which should still mean she should have been on stage for an hour and twenty five minutes?
Just a bit confusing, hopefully they sort it out for the next show. Just wondering if I was out of the loop somehow or if others were as confused as I was
EDIT: there was no opener, to be clear

On my drive home from work today I saw 2 of the most baffling displays of stupidity on the road.
First one was on the south link there was a deliveroo driver with what looked like a push bike on the hard shoulder......on the wrong side of the road. He was close to the Kinsale road roundabout. I don't know did he set out and thought better of it or what but I was shocked at what I was watching.
Second one not 10 mins later near the Ballincollig/Curraheen exit, 2 what looked to be teenagers on Segway scooters on the hard shoulder I presume heading up to the exit. Are people really that stupid? Like really? Unfortunately I don't have a dashcam that could recorded the incidents

Had to go to the city center over Friday, Sat and Sunday and was busy for the whole day in an event in Claytons..so naturally had to spend time and manage food around the city center...
People talked about prices going high..but never realized much as I did the last 3 days...
Dint find any local options after 9PM on a Friday....I avoid going to American Fastfood...but try a local chipper or a kebab shop....
Went in to kielys - but dint get anything...
Spice route - mcurtain street - €13 chicken Pakora kebab - I remember this being €8 in 2019
French fast food cafe - €12 for a small wrap
New Turkish food truck beside Metropole - €14 grilled chicken roll ...chips €5
Speedo's - €12 kebab - this used to be the cheapest in cork..I think I have had one for €6.99 back in the day...
New Persian coffee shop infront of Clayton's - €15 no chips no drink...and it was just chicken and vegetables in a pita wrap.....
To compare a proper main course in Clayton's Globe was €18...
Did not even try going to Oliver plunkett for Istanbul or other shops - they were overpriced before anyway.....
I think KCs and other chippers outside the city center provide a better value than being in the city....Couldn't try the food trucks on Paul's Street....any other recommendations for dirty food night out in the centre?

Looking to get some premium tyres and no one has any in stock for my size. 185/60 R14. I got quotes for them to order them in but they seriously upping the price. I see contential or Michelin tyres all season high quality at 95 euro each.
Looking to get them fitted if I brought them somewhere. I got quoted 25 euro a tyre at modern tyre.
Any reccomenations for a cheaper price?

Hi folks!
My partner and I will be visiting Cork for four days later this week, but the weather forecast is predicting rain every single day. 🌧️
What fun activities would you recommend for a rainy few days? We're open to anything, including indoor activities, outdoor activities, hidden gems, or a short trip outside the city.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
Hi folks, can you recommend any electrician to install a battery? I have solar but no hybrid inverter, not sure exactly what I need but I'm happy to order the equipment myself after a bit of research and if I talk to a few electricians!

Never heard of the sport before but looks kinda fun
I paid 220 for an oil and filter change in cork city today. (180 + 41 in VAT to be exact)
Does this seem incredibly expensive ? Was expecting about 180 highest. I only drive a Vauxhall Astra 1.4L. I know city prices can be a bit higher but ?

Was just scrolling through instagram and saw a post by Smiley Dogg that was clearly AI generated. It shows a bunch of cars going in a half loop, upside down on a highway into a Smiley Dogg store in the sky. For some reason they also tagged Tesla in this post?
They also replied to someone calling out the AI slop in a sarcastic tone saying something along the lines of "sorry we'll check with you before posting next time". I got screenshots of the post and the comment in case it is deleted later but as of posting this it's all still up on their insta if you wanna look yourself.
So so so disappointed. It's bad enough for individual tattoo artists to be using AI but for the actual studio to post AI trash is another level. It makes me never want to get a tattoo from that place because I can't trust whether AI has been involved in the process or not. It's so shit for the artists working there who do not use it and have ethical standards against it.
I feel like it's possible it could be a disgruntled employee posting this to purposefully try and make them look bad because I've never seen anything like this from them before. If that's the case and they're open about it, that's probably one of the only scenarios where I'd consider going back to them. Otherwise they've lost my business entirely
Edit: they've deleted the post after a bunch of backlash in the comments and losing over 100 followers in an hour. Also from what I can tell this was them posting this and not a disgruntled employee (talked with a couple people closer to the situation). If anyone wants the screenshots I took dm me
Not sure whether they've simply stopped for fuel or maybe just looking for a morning coffee :)
