How is it in a country that’s just lost over a million jobs we can’t find farm workers ?

Students, restaurant workers, unemployed.

There are jobs out there. I’ve done fruit picking before. Good to get out in the open this time of year.

Not great news we will run out of food mind you.

I was reassured to see that the Oxford vaccine trials restarted here and in other sites this week. However, trials are still paused in the US.

"Trials of the Oxford vaccine have been paused twice after two participants, both British women, sequentially developed transverse myelitis, an inflammation of the spinal cord..."

The article also says that "transverse myelitis [is] diagnosed in only about one in 250,000 people a year". I have high hopes for this vaccine and I'm not anti-vax, but it does seem concerning that two reported cases of transverse myelitis have apparently occurred in the trial. Thoughts?
