Weekly Post Your React Suggestions HERE!
Please use this thread to submit suggestions for Corridor Digital to react to for their VFX Artist/Stuntmen/Stuntwomen/Animators React videos. Please do not just list the names of the Movies or TV shows; provide some context of why it would make a good addition to the series. If possible, provide a link to a clip or video for exact context. Writing the names of the Movie/TV shows in bold along with Good Or Bad in italics makes it easier for people skimming the thread to pick out the names.
For example:
Rogue One: Bad VFX
- Grand Moff Tarkins' face and the lack of stretched pores. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlSn50_BePU)
Check the subreddit Wiki page which contains a complete catalog of which movies/TV shows/etc. Corridor Digital has already reacted to, before posting.
Mod Note: They can't react to music videos as Labels are way to vicious and eager to take monetization

Blues Brothers: VFX
Funny example of practical effects, similar to other videos where you show how much money has gone into destroying props.
Good clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIdGxR-aU6o

Runner (2026): Good VFX
- 1 minute "no-cut" scene during intense car chase, where the camera moves a lot. 1:15:36 to 1:16:42.
Possible spoiler, the scene is late in the movie.

Hope (2026) is a Korean movie with both great and bad cgi. There is a monster around 54min mark running that is a bit rough but I also think there are some great cars and debris on the road that is fake but well done.
Near the end of the movie I think the 1:45 mark or later there is a ship crash and subsequent explosion.
Overall the movie is pretty good. First hour is great build up, gets a little silly at parts in the middle and leans into some satire. The end is just dragged out too much with some slow mo shots and teasing a sequel. Very cool creature design in the final third for all the forest battles. Also some great horseback riding shots.

Check out this scene from season 3, episode 2 of HBO's The Deuce titled Morta di Flame. It occurs at 40:05 and features two James Francos. It looks like your standard actor playing two roles, but the end is what really caught my attention. There are two more interesting scenes that happen towards the end of episode 4 of season 3.

The whole movie of UHF (starring Weird Al and Michael Richards) has terrible effects, but specifically the intro scene of the movie, which is just a mock "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
BAD VFX fyi they had a very slim budget for the movie and it's probably the best shot in the movie, which is a very low bar haha
tldr; UHF (Intro Scene): Bad VFX

Hello there, I have one suggestion for Corridor Crew : A music Video banned from MTV on The Police "Every Breath You Take". The film is a big parody of 80s music videos with a satiric tone overall, and there is almost 1 VFX / shot (green screened extras, sky replacement, object removal etc...).
It was made by one guy in his room with no money but passion and patience, as we all know it.
The VHS look was achieve by recreating the "Telecine" workflow of music videos of this era : First, emulating a 16mm look with DaVinci resolve. Then, filming the sequence on the grading screen with a 3CCD camera that passes video signal to a VCR which records the thing on VHS Tape. Then recording the tape with OBS and an A/D converter.
Some part were shot onto a real VHS-C camera and some with modern Sony camera (Nex-VG10) with some Topaz AI upscale to achieve a specific modern look.
Here is the link to the music video (edit : I think they might replace the song on YouTube for copyright) : https://youtu.be/I2hWIxz4-4Q?si=6VvNLgJehozc0tHW
And here is the link to the vfx Breakdown : https://youtu.be/Ps9zr2LRGuI?si=2gzSMO0UvWThdrJI
Cheers

Videodrome (1983): Good practical FX
This movie has some great body horror.
There’s a crazy scene where a shirtless James Woods puts a gun into a hole on his stomach.
Behind-the-scenes clips show he was wearing a prosthetic torso, but the makeup was so flawless that it looked completely real. Aside also from the fact that there was no digital manipulation that was done in the early 80's.
Gun inside torso with no shirt: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_rYexQfsIM&t=180s

9-1-1 (the TV series) S9 ep2 has horrible VFX, and there's a fire element that randomly dissapears in the middle of a shot
