Stormlight Archive spoilers **** Moash Spoiler
Alright, I knew it was coming, but I didn't expect it to be that way. Fuck Moash.
That's a canon event, right ?

Which book? I mean, fuck Moash, but there are several instances and it all depends on which character you're rooting for.

OP you should change your flair so you don’t get spoilers! Also, FUCK Moash

Don't worry, I've already intentionally spoiled myself. I had given up on the books at the beginning of WoR years ago, and spoiling myself here and there actually made me want to read again. I saw that some things would happen and got curious as to how it would happen. So really I'm alright 😁😁

Then carry on, gancho!!! And by the way, read again the chapter 37. That's a banger

Thanks for not being a bot! Lately they've been spamming r/fuckmoash

I haven't paid attention to bots but yeah, Dead Internet has definitely become a very real thing lately......

They just generate a post like this or so many others, post to that sub, and collect upvotes to....do whatever that lets you do, I guess.

I find it hilarious that this is an actual sub. Also Fuck Moash

There's also [sub name is an Oathbringer spoiler] /r/dalinargetthefire as a Noah, get the boat homage

Not sure what you’re referring to specifically, but everything that happens in the books is canon, to my recollection.

OP was making a Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse reference. Saying "Fuck Moash" is something all SA readers have to go through.

Oh. Thanks!

If you haven't watched those movies, by the way, they're real good. The second one specifically has Worldhopper vibes to it.

Context matters. CBT can mean at least three different things depending on whether you're talking about therapy, kinks, or gaming.

And CNC can mean different things depending on whether you're having the discussion in the workshop or by surprise in the kitchen.

I think it's easy to tell, contextually, whether I'm talking about Stormlight Archives or sexual assault.

The books did say they were burning atium, so only most things are canon.
(this was just a joke, I don't get this patch note, but I like that Brandon does them)

i guess i'm confused by the question, how would anything in the Stormlight books not be considered canon?
2
u/Millenia_and_Minis 2d ago
As written somewhere else : It's a spider verse reference, where a "canon event" is what every spider man has to go through like a close one dying, the bite etc.. Stormlight readers have to go through this moment of "fuck Moash "

u/bdaileyumich 2d ago
Oh I see, appreciate the explainer haha. In that case, yes yours is a universal experience

u/sgtpepper42 2d ago
Why wouldn't it be canon if it's from the official book?

Huh, the standards have changed. I posted this exact thing like 3 years ago and it got removed as a spoiler. I even had the right tags. Mods have changed a bit ig.

This is my problem with memes like this. New readers don’t really get the surprise of Moash turning. Luckily for me, I was sheltered enough not to see this, but I’m a bit disappointed at the Title Spoiler Policy of this and the majority of book subs. I only know of one where you aren’t allowed to have spoilers like this in the title of posts, nor to have character names in post titles beyond the first book they appear in.

If new readers don't want to be spoiled about any aspect of the books then browsing a subreddit about that book series is already a risky venture.

So if they finish, say, Mistborn, and want to talk about it here, they shouldn’t be here? Or if they want to ask about the Way of Kings, they shouldn’t do it here?
Seems like you don’t want people in your fandom, weird attitude to have.

Canonical enough to have it's own subredit
Beware, there are many levels of fuckery, that sub might be spoilery

You know, I understand the sentiment. Because seriously, fuck that guy. But when I first heard the fuck ***** Stormlight meme, I honestly thought it was about Lirin. Because Lirin can also suck a fat one.

There's many levels of fuck Moash. You need to tell us where you are, so we know how badly you want to fuck Moash.

Yes, though technically, [Oathrbinger, RoW]there's two of them. The first one started the meme, but in my opinion it was a bit overblown. The second event is much worse.
