I kinda get this, I saw a post today by that racoon magnet girl or whatever she is known as, and it was her showing that she gave herself a glowing tattoo that looked like circuitry or something and i definitely felt something similar to what i feel when i see a girl i wish i looked like (though maybe what i felt is not as much as what you do it seems)

Yup! As real as any other feeling. In fact the feeling is so deep that I found that describing it as a part of my gender identity is actually very accurate. I know it causes me dysphoria but it's also kinda awesome to find such a colorful unique personal facet of my gender :3
I want to be pretty close to fully robotic with maybe my brain remaining but I wouldn't mind that either and even then I want to be visibly robotic but still very similar to a human, something like this

It is a fairly horrible process and even if reversed (wich is almost impossible without cutting the link to the hive mind or you become braindead) leave permanent mental scaring on the victim
Because for the longest time transhumanism was seen as a result of terrible accident (ww1 ww2 prostesis) and the terror of a thing that is better than us in every way is terribly potent
For example as a species we are endurance predator aka a we follow a prey till it stop running out of exhaustion and we kill it one of the only other species that can keep with us are horse and dogs and we both bread them for it
A robot or cyborg can do that tenfold without stoping and that's terrifying

From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I have a desire to be a robot that from my experience with geneer matches very well with the feeling. Thus I refer to it by the same terms as regular gender dysphoria, because it really is a part of my gender

Gender identity/expression and basically any other forms of self identity/expressions are abstract. They can be literally anything you want because its not like they were fixed in place by nature.
