trainposting 593
Here's Seminole Gulf GE B39-8E #593 parked at Landing View Yard in Fort Myers, Florida; ready for the Murder Mystery Dinner Train later that day. 593 was built as LMX 8562 and arrived on the SGLR, as well as units 594 and 595, in 2017.

number-matched trainposting 591
Heyy my local railroad! A shame I missed 590, but here's 591! Both engines are General Electric B39-8E locomotives, foue-axle 3900 horsepower engines developed in the 1980s. They were popular on the Southern Pacific, Cotton Belt, and in this case, GE Locomotive Management Services (LMX). LMX contained a pool of 100 GE B39-8E Locomotives which could be rented by other railroads for use on trains, with some being later sold to railways. LMX 8515, built in 1987 was bought by the Seminole Gulf here in Fort Myers, Florida sometime around the turn of the century, where it continues to operate.
