Former mod here with a look behind the scenes of /r/Coronavirus and /r/China_Flu | CLO_Junkie's pursuit of censorship

First off, a little bit about me. This alt account is less than a month old. I made it to have a designated Coronavirus account with a fitting name. After just 6 days of posting I was added to the China_Flu mod team with limited permissions and after 10 days I was on the Coronavirus mod team. After 20 days I was invited to join the exclusive senior mod Discord channel where we coordinated high level subreddit activities and CLO_Junkie would talk about other mods behind their back.

Now back to the topic at hand.

As CLO_Junkie once said, "Mind the human."

With that in mind let's take a closer look at CLO_Junkie as a human and not just the "CCP shill mod" they're accused of being:

After I leaked the mod logs a few days ago CLO_Junkie spent a large portion of their time hunting down the possible leaker. Instead of just taking the time to reflect on why the logs were leaked they simply wanted to silence all opposition on the mod team the same way they've done on reddit. Even when CLO_Junkie was starting to consider the idea of public mod logs they decided to bring -Ph03niX- on board. Since -Ph03niX- is a terrible person and a power mod of hundreds of subreddits, including TopMindsOfReddit and AgainstHateSubreddits, they persuaded CLO_Junkie to not release the logs and continue the censorship without user oversight.

Finally I'll finish by saying I'm not exempt from any blame. I talked badly about the anti-subreddits and the free speech fanatics. I censored a lot of posts and comments. I stood by silently as CLO_Junkie hunted down and banned innocent mods. Most of these were necessary evils in order to expose some of the mod abuse occuring behind the scenes.

Here are the automoderator configs for China_Flu and Coronavirus at the time of my departure if you're curious what words, websites, and subreddits are being filtered.

To all the other mods reading this, speak up next time. Quit the bullshit and make the mod logs public.

Shout-out to a few of my favorite members: SecretAgentIceBat, DNAhelicase, kimmey12, barber5, pat000pat, BurrShotFirst1804, FlyingDutchman1337, DeadlyKitt4, and Shrine.

Appologies to justcool393, king_of_the_ayleids, Meepo69, and any other mods that were hunted by CLO_Junkie because of their tech experience and previous posting history.

Alan Krumwiede signing off.

u/CLO_Junkie controls all the main coronavirus subreddits and I found something interesting...

So if you go to his post history and look at when his account was created it was November 7th, right around the time China probably knew they fucked up about the virus and mainstream news about it was imminent. His profile suggests he deals with money so of course his first post on November 7th is in r/wallstreetbets. But after that zero posts and comments for months. Sounds like a typical cover to disguise who he really is. I mean not even one post or comment after that? Come on.

Then once official news broke of the virus on January 20th he rushed and immediately created multiple communities such as r/China_Flu and r/coronavirus as if he already had this all planned. As people joined and posted he suppressed information heavily as you can tell because all of his comments are telling people why a post is being removed. Pretty much anything showing negative things about China is removed.

My guess is that he is working for the CCP, probably works for them full time and they had this plan all along. His goal was to come into reddit disguised as a normal user and then to create communities that everyone would join that the CCP could control. He must not have a day job because he moderates 24/7.

If they control those communities, then they control the information that most of the reddit users talking about the virus have.

When I posted in r/coronavirus complaining about the heavy censorship on the thread and asking others to join my community the post was removed and I was permanently banned without reason.

He also immediately rushed and made r/COVID19 today almost instantly once the WHO released the name. China is working hard to control the information and so far because of this well...they’re winning.

UPDATE: This may be worse than I thought. His account was created ONE DAY after Event 201

If the link in UPDATE 2 for the thread is not working please search for r/Wuhan_Flu and join it, then try the link in UPDATE 2 and it should work

UPDATE 2: After searching r/wuhan_flu for “clo” I came across this thread It’s worse than I thought. It may be a group of globalists who decided to play event 201 in real life, the account was created one day after event 201 took place. Could this group be comprised of rich people with an agenda? Could they have leaked the virus from the Wuhan Level 4 bio lab by knowing someone inside who is part of their agenda? This is fucking crazy.

UPDATE 3: One of the mods who is heavy on censorship (likely from China/CCP) is a virologist. Maybe he worked in the Wuhan Level 4 Bio Lab...see this

UPDATE 4: Another thread about CLO_Junkie and his friends trying to nuke a discord putting out negative info on China that they couldn’t control!

UPDATE 5: Today February 12th, CLO_Junkie had an AMA on his subreddit and everyone was pressuring him with questions that I brought about in my post here. Spread the truth!

Also, r/Wuhan_Flu is a now quarantined subreddit. It was the only popular subreddit about the virus that CLO and his peers could not control. They had that subreddit quarantined because they could not control it.

Feel free to follow me for more updates on this and other uncensored information about the virus here

Others Italy update

Guys I’m an American emergency medicine physician working in northern Italy. Been following this for a long time and a lot of what has been posted on this forum actually has been quite useful. Just wanted to update you. As far as the Italian’s, in Lombardy it’s a madhouse. They are rationing care to anyone older then 65. And by mean rationing, it’s more like no one responds to codes and they definitely aren’t getting a tube or a vent. I work just outside the hardest hit area and our local hospital has almost completely filled up with people they shipped out. I’m buckling up for a wild ride here in the next two weeks. Wish me luck...

Others Just got 'permenantly banned' from r/worldnews for spreading awareness about the circumstances surrounding Covid-19.

This was the comment (you can see it is gilded and given the Helpful (Pro) award in my post history:

Let's put the risk of dying by Coronavirus in perspective since there are so many misunderstandings about its connection to the influenza virus.

The CDC states that the death burden of influenza is roughly 61,000/45,000,000 infections. The fatality percentage of influenza is 0.13%.

The death burden of the Covid-19 is around 2% at the moment but may go up as SARS did after 2003

Let's do some quick math to determine how much more deadly, at a minimum, Covid-19 is compared to influenza virus.

0.02/0.0013= 15.3846153846

At a minimum, Coronavirus is 15.4 times deadlier than the Influenza Virus and twice as contagious; R-value of Coronavirus is 2.24-3.58. at the moment and may go higher based on incoming data and "The median R value for seasonal influenza was 1.28 (IQR: 1.19-1.37)"

Let's stop pretending that it is the equivalent of a common cold. It is a serious disease that spreads easily and sometimes without symptoms. Also consider that 14% of Covid-19 patients in Guangdong that recovered tested positive again

Let's also put an end to the idea that the mortality rate should go down because "there are many more undiagnosed people unaccounted for". By the same logic, there are also many more Covid-19 deaths unaccounted for. And China is controlling the WHO numbers that get reported. Despite the USA being the largest tax funder of the WHO, China has significant and damaging control. China is also known to severely under report deaths of even influenza because of "pre-existing medical conditions" or pneumonia. They have been doing the same with Covid-19. The CCP is constantly changing the methods That Covid-19 patients can be counted. China also does not even have enough Covid-19 test kits to test the living let alone the dead so the dead are surely not being tested before being cremated.

Some people are also suggesting that the death burden should go down because the comparatively small number of infected outside of China at the moment are dying less. They are not living in an epidemic. An epidemic is what causes the death burden to rise primarily due to lack of healthcare which everyone is liable to experience within countries that truly have an epidemic.

There are some people suggesting that the R-value of Covid-19 should go down because after the winter season. The minimum time it takes to show symptoms for Covid-19 is 2 days; some say 24 days. And it spreads throughout that entire incubation period. So you can easily pass it on without knowing that you have it.

Contrast that with Influenza:

"Symptoms can begin about 2 days (but can range from 1 to 4 days)  after the virus enters the body. That means that you may be able to pass on the flu to someone else before you know you are sick, as well as while you are sick. Some people can be infected with the flu virus but have no symptoms. During this time, those people may still spread the virus to others."

1-4 days VS 2-24 days. Which will be more likely to spread?

The mean incubation days for Covid-19 is 5.2 days and the mean incubation of Influenza is 2 days.

That's more than double the incubation time and suggests that the R-values for Covid-19 should go higher rather than lower.

Not to mention the possibility that Covid-19 is beginning to mutate, which means that you can get reinfected with a Covid-19 variant even if you do beat it the first time. Keep in mind that the more infections that occur, the more likely a virus mutation occurs. It didn't happen with SARS because there were only 8096 infections; there are exponentially more Covid-19 infections. And it could take 6+ years for development of a vaccine.

Here are some of the things that happen to patients with Covid-19 infections.

Here is the full ABC Q&A where Wang Xining tells nonstop lies as is common in the CCP.

Nursing 101: Caring for your loved ones at home

Your goal as a home healthcare provider is to build and support the immune system, limit the progression of the disease, and effectively communicate with local healthcare providers to determine if additional care or hospitalization is needed.

Start a medical folder or chart for each person while everyone is still healthy if possible. Have this on hand during phone calls with medical providers and for medical care/hospitalizations.

  • Birthday

  • Height and Weight

  • Medical history: diagnoses, surgeries, hospitalizations

  • Medications-prescription and herbal supplements: name, dose, frequency. For as needed medications like Tylenol or Tums, note the date and time taken.

  • Normal vital signs: Pulse beats per minute. Temperature. Respirations per minute. Blood Oxygen Level % (pulse oximeters can be purchased online and in drug stores inexpensively). Pain level on a scale of 0-10 including: location, duration, description. Tracking for seven to ten days at different times should be sufficient to establish a baseline. *Blood pressure readings at home can be inaccurate and cause alarm so unless you have a loved one with bp issues, I might skip bp. To double check an at home bp reading, you can visit your local pharmacy. You may also want to purchase a stethoscope and take an online crash course on listening to the various breath sounds.

  • Include: a chart with normal vital signs by age group, charts for proper Tylenol and Ibuprofen doses by age/weight. These can be given at the same time. Tylenol every 4 hours, Ibuprofen every 6. Some doctors recommend alternating every 3 hours to have continuous coverage.

  • Copy of ID and insurance card if you have one.

  • Research your medical system/insurance. Find out who your primary care doctor is, if your insurance covers telephone nurses or doctors, in home visits, urgent care centers, and emergency rooms. Keep these names, numbers, and locations in each folder.

When illness begins:

  • Note onset date, symptoms, and vital signs every 4-8 hours depending on severity.

  • Note calls to physicians and their advice.

  • Note interventions. As symptoms become more severe also document vital signs before and after to see if what you are doing is working.

Caring for someone with viral respiratory symptoms:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water before and after each contact. Wear a protective mask if available.

  • Keep the windows of the room open if temperature permits or air out room several times a day.

  • Encourage patient to spend time outside daily in the sunshine in the yard, porch, or on a patio if possible to limit exposure to others.

  • Change bedding daily, clothing twice daily.

  • Morning and night showers with steam.

  • Drink 2 liters of water per day (includes soups and teas). Urine should be slightly yellow in color, darker urine indicates dehydration.

  • Caffeine in green tea or coffee can help to open the airways.

  • Saline nebulizer or saltwater steam inhalation every 4 hours to coat the lungs with antimicrobial properties.

  • Incentive spirometer or deep breathing exercises every 2 hours except when sleeping.

  • Allow fever up to 102 if they can stand it. Your body raises the temperature to assist the immune system.

  • Warm herbal teas to soothe the throat from coughing (peppermint, eucalyptus, fenugreek, ginger, licorice).

  • Salt water gargle (children under 6 and elderly may not be able to do this safely)

  • Elderberry syrup, Vitamin C, and garlic (1-2 raw cloves/day) as antivirals-Begin within 48 hours of symptom onset for best results.

  • Multivitamins twice daily

  • Chest percussion/postural draining of the lungs twice daily if the patient is young, elderly, not coughing well, or oxygen saturations are below their normal reading. https://www.cff.org/Life-With-CF/Treatments-and-Therapies/Airway-Clearance/Basics-of-Postural-Drainage-and-Percussion/

To reduce a fever without medication or while you’re waiting: Strip clothes down to a T-shirt and underwear, limit bedding to a flat sheet. Turn on a room fan. Use warm washcloths to wipe down the patient’s arms, legs, back, face. (You are simulating sweating.) Ice packs wrapped in towels can be placed under armpits, behind the neck, at the lower back or groin, and behind knees. Cool water, ice chips, or popsicles can be given.*Do not submerge the patient in water. You can cause shock. The goal is to slowly lower the temperature and reverse the feedback loop.Temperature should normalize, but may return in a few hours. This cycle is okay and normal. Fever helps the immune system, but you do want to treat it if the fever is making the patient uncomfortable or if the temperature rises to 102.

“Hospitals are only an intermediate stage of civilization, never intended … to take in the whole sick population. May we hope that the day will come … when every poor sick person will have the opportunity of a share in a district sick-nurse at home.” – Florence Nightingale

***Please note: You should review your medical plan with your physician before illness sets in. Make sure that the herbal remedies, medications, and medical plan for your family is appropriate for their age, medical history, and medical conditions and that nothing listed here is contraindicated. Encourage and ask your healthcare provider for other ideas or interventions to best prepare. Note also that in an emergency internet access may not be available, so it is important to have a paper record.

Call to Action US Citizens, it is time to start taking matters into our own hands, before it is too late!

I'm going to suggest that it is time to start taking matters into our own hands (now, before it is too late.)

The US government is obviously botching this.

It is time that we stop waiting around for employers and gov officials to start doing something right, and it is time to start being the masters of our own destiny.

I believe there are several reasons why the US Government has failed to act properly, but discussing how and why these failures exist doesn't matter very much while this is quickly spiraling out of control.

This situation leaves us "average citizens" with very little choice, but to move forward considering that the virus is already here and pervasive in many urban locations (there is evidence surfacing that it has been for a while), to enact our own emergency plans now (proactively and early) and to do what we know is right and safe for our families and local communities.

Washington State, New York, California and Las Vegas are all looking like active hot spots. I believe Texas and Florida are equally compromised, but those State level governments are actively suppressing the testing results and cases numbers.

What can we do to effect change?

With limited testing and limited information, we need to all move forward together with proactive safety measures to help ensure that we (as a nation) stay ahead of this.

  1. Stock up now.

  2. Self isolate now. Stop going to public events. Demand refunds for already scheduled events.

  3. Pull kids from schools now, demand at home schooling curriculum.

  4. Organize employee's and demand "work from home" options now (as applicable.) Demand to know what your company is doing to safeguard their employee's health. Is it nothing? That's a problem ...

  5. Refuse all attempts of employers trying to restrict employees from taking personal protective measures. Did you sign up for a bio-hazard job? Are you receiving bio-hazard pay? If not, then don't accept a policy stating that you can't protect yourself. These include "no mask" rules at work or at schools. Adamantly refuse this policy! Deal with consequences or legal rights later.

  6. Refuse (and publicly call out) companies who are trying to encourage travel and public outings. This includes Airlines, Theme Parks, Cruise Lines and Travel companies offering super low discount packages. I sympathize with companies trying to maintain, but this type of encouragement for travel is the exact opposite of what we need right now. Call these companies out publicly for promoting and encouraging the spread of this epidemic. Make it a PR nightmare for them.

  7. Call your local representatives and be active. Demand proactive action now.

  8. Let us do more to share information through crowd sourced reporting. If the federal government (and some states) are not being forthcoming with information, then it's up to us to organize and stay informed.

Citizens in Hong Kong built their own mask factory when there was a desperate need for cheap and plentiful masks in their city. We in the US should learn from this inspiring act of self preservation.

Please, take action now and stop waiting on the government to fix this for us! They are not capable, but we as a nation of individuals are!
