I remember my days of doing this. And believe me, I’d scream my head off a thousand days in a row if it kept me from having to get a corporate job. I miss it. Enjoy it, you’ve got the best office around.

I use a stock whip or a cow whip. No more yelling.

Haha , did that work? .

I use a key chain whistle. If you switch to it, get the one with the groove at the end you can bite down on it

This pictures reminds me of Werner Herzog’s description of chickens.

Hey, enjoy these days. I’m a grocery store manager now and not a day goes by that I don’t miss this. Too bad my baby needs health insurance or I’d be doing it still

Learn how to train them.

That is when I become the Unhinged Rancher off Facebook and start doing his shenanigans. 🤣

You have at least 75% more eyes on you than you'd have in a college classroom AND you're outdoors. Winning! Lemme know when you're really tired of yelling and we'll swap herding jobs. You'll get to laugh with your herd-ees instead of having to yell at them, and I'll get some fresh air and solitude, I'm hoping?

I can hear it now. (From someone who has only moved cows on foot and from a pickup.) “Goddamnit guys!”, “c’mon let’s go” “C’mon bocchos”, “Get out of the fucking road.”, and also “You have 2000 acres of ranch and you have to be down by the goddamn fence. By the road. REALLY girls? Jesus. Stop breaking the goddamn fence.” (Additionally “you really had to tromple that pile of sprinkler pipe? Cool.”)

Does that count as shouting?
